So, I made toons on Phoenix with in the first 15mins it was up.... my first toon on my "Verdonix1976" account (AOL) was made within the first 2mins of it being live ..... my next toons as name holders were on "SnakeEye1976" (and on Fury), and the last of my name holders were on this acct "Verdx2"
I received an E-Pin ONLY on this acct (Verdx2) which is EXPIRED and never received any E-Pin period for the 2 accounts I made toons with first. (With in minutes of server being live!!)
Now before the "holier then thou" group of you start your "Well, why do you think you should get more than 1 E-Pin?!" I will answer that clearly, because the way the ORIGINAL post was worded was this "Be one of the first 25,000 accounts to create a toon on Phoenix and win the 'Welcome pack' ". There was NEVER a qualifier!! Even now!!! there is nothing that says 1 acct per IP!
So yes I THINK I should get 1 E-Pin for each of the accounts I made toons with on Phoenix, AT LEAST the active ones! and those accounts are Verdonix1976 (AOL acct) and SnakeEye1976 (Fury acct) both with leveled toons on them and both among the very first say 500 toons on server and BOTH did NOT receive an E-Pin. Then we have Verdx2 who has NO leveled toons, and was the last acct I made a toon on to save names, but DID receive an E-Pin that is now expired less then a week after it was sent, and useless.
I sent a ticket on both my active accounts and got 2 separate "canned" answers, and I really do not feel like doing another set of tickets for the same crap answers and frankly as you can see by my avatar and signature IDGAF! I Quit!!
When I saw there were MANY other people in my situation, including a highly respected ex-GS, I figured I would post here too, just so that you all would see that AGE did it again and it is not just a small group of people "Whining about free stuff" as some of you "kissbutts" like to say. It is a LARGE group of people who stood behind AGE, stayed awake, woke up early, backed up, and stood behind the GM/PM team when we were told of this new server and were among the FIRST people to make toons on this server and were the FIRST people to be "forgotten" at the end. (I don't know if it was a software glitch or what, but the running theme I see is that those of us that logged in within seconds of getting the word the server was up are the ones without the E-Pin)
Anyway, I have left the game for the most part and the community totally, and did so when I saw the inaction of the "team" to deal with the economy on Phoenix and the blinders most of you have on to it. This is just "icing on the cake". Just know that the reason I did so, lies at the feet of AGE and their lack of follow-thru and commitment to integrity.
Anyway, that is the end of my E-Pin story ....
Let me leave with this, I played this game because it was fun. I played it because it offered me a chance to interact with people without having to go out and see them .... I played it because it offered a challenge and gave me a chance to try to be "better then good" as I played.... I played it because I enjoyed it.
I stopped playing it when it started to become a chore to do so, I stopped playing it when it cost more then a car to have fun in the game and I realized it..... I stopped playing it when AGE priced the enjoyment right out of the game and then started lying to suck even more money out of us. I stopped playing it because it is not fun anymore and never can be again.
This post turned into more then just welcome pack stuff, sorry.
