What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Partridge & they were so tiny sitting there on the plate, that I felt guilty eating them, until I had to pick through all of their tiny little bones to get to tiny slivers of meat & then I felt frustrated as well.
What’s your power animal?
Dragon
What's the one thing you can't live without?
Music
ALL TIME FAVORITE character from another game.
I've played games from different publishers, with so many people that were just incredible gamers (characters) that I thought I'd pick one of them. It's really hard to choose, but certainly two of the most outstanding among them are
Veratas &
stickblade.
What types of events would you like to see for Closed Beta?
Anything that allows for maximum participation & until the game is actually up, simple events such as this
Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest or this more demanding (maybe too demanding?) but still potentially a lot of fun
Game 4 Life contest or this
We need a slogan contest.
At any time, something that encourages player interaction with the GM's or anyone on staff at AGE, like this
Photoshop Amon's Hair Contest or just for fun type interactions like,
Music soothes the soul!.
In game
Scavenger Hunts are good.
What are you expecting from this game?
Answered this recently with respect to Waren Story & I'm looking for much of the same in DK, so I'm hoping,
Class skills are really well described in game (hopefully with free skill resets available to a reasonable level) & that each Class can reasonably counter their skills against the others.
there are lots of big maps with lots of interesting terrain, landmarks & hidden spots to explore, farm, all supported with a fair drop table.
there is fun pve combat with a lot of mobs that are challenging, have an original look that's unique to the game & have mob specific behaviours.
the pvp combat is exciting, fair, unpredictable, available often & easily accessible.
if there is an enchantment / upgrade system, that there are reasonable success rates & consequences for failure.
the political system is relevant but not overpowering & that it isn't too demanding on those players who choose to participate, ie., that the players elected still have lots of opportunities to enjoy the game, without being weighed down by their political responsibilities.
I want to see a great community of players who know how to play fair, tease & taunt within reason, inspire some drama without getting personal, help out when it's needed & provide realistic suggestions, intelligent feedback to Aeria's GM's to relay to the developers. I'm hoping for reasonable & timely cooperation between the developers & AGE.
It's especially appreciated when Aeria's GM's provide on-going, regular interaction with the players. I like the format of GM diaries / blogs, or at the very least, regular posts that allow players to preview or better understand new features & just to know what's happening in the game's development in general. Patch notes posted on the forum are really helpful as well.
P.S. Did anyone get the "What's in the box" reference?
I didn't but I cheated & used Google & I'm hoping it's in reference to something
musical like this, or something
innocent & artsy like this, or a
humorous parody like this & not SE7EN, which considering what happened in Montreal recently, is hitting way too close to home.
Good luck to everyone working on the game.
