Streyiana Drops

Is finding decent drops a thing of the past?
Hi all,
Just wondering if drop hunting for 105-107 gear a thing of the past since this new patch.
Has anyone had a decent drop rate for every booster they use or do you get like 7 drops total
(With all crap seals) for every 15-25 boosters used?

I remember dropping a Knight shirt in Ebony Mine and it was missing the 5th eva seal but nothing but G5E so far in Stray and the common Magic and Defense for NS but still no B6E.

Any thoughts on this or do you prefer to use ROE?

seems there are some unending events running. drop rate always smells like last weeks fish with events running.

Always had low results in Stray, both outside and inside the caves.

Mostly because of all the antidotes and stuff (outside) and broken weapons/powders and such (inside).
Wooden Treasure Keys have only added to this, so now chances of dropping gear, let alone GOOD gear is at it's lowest rate ever.

Drophunting in Stray is a waste of time and gold, in my opinion.

So where would a good place be had for drop hunting decent gear?

I hate spending money on a game that has poop for drops and nothing to show for my efforts.

I might as well make a set in RL and imagine that my toon has the best gear lol.

This won't answer your question as to where to farm good gear, but where to possibly farm good gold.

Red eye golems in the caves have always dropped well for me getting 3/4 drops per booster pretty often. The only "good" gear there is the -10 NS weap (which is the only item I bother opening), but at that rate of item drops I made a lot, (i wanna say over 400mil in an hour but I might be remembering wrong because its been awhile), just npc'ing them all. That isn't subtracting the cost of the few pots I used.

Doesn't really solve where to drop your gear but it can put a bit of gold in your pockets to purchase any of that gear that may be for sale by another player. Complete band-aid solution, I know, because if the gear isn't dropping no one is selling, but, as the ppl that do have it level out of it they may sell and there ya go.

Think I'll do some drop farming there tonight and see since I haven't done it since these couple of last patches.

I don't mind gold farming for the sets but you could have all the gold on the server and not see one decent piece of gear for sale unless you count the G5 eva sets that's circulating.

Maybe a GM can do a test run on their test servers to see what the drop rates are compared to dropping a good piece of B6E for any class except the NS.

I dropped a 115-10 b6e gloves for Rogue at Hecate the other day. Just figured I'd ID it for a change. Mad lucky.

Maybe you should just go for the 115-10 b6e set? And maybe stick with 87 speedies and cooldown? Just a thought.

i also have been trying for a good armor drop in stryana. no luck for me, all green and most junks. however, i just got one 106 rogue antistone b5e shirt. until now i wasn't able to sell lol. and ya, i also notice that there are very few good gear available in the market.

hehe man i wont even say anything, i had few threads about it and i was told that Devs and GMs know about it, and yes the drop rate and identifying rate is as low as it can be, use 800 idb while u h ave LS and LSB on and u still dont get any b6e max u get is arcane without the cast seal speedies without the speed seal antistun without the antistun seal ....etc

specially after the wooden box keys and maps has been added to the drop lists if u remember that patch

Best drops for me were archmage q's (b5e healer shirt) and then the sorc spirits. But cost a fortune in idb and scrolls. Much better dhing in ebony and misty canyon.
