ive played lc for 5 yrs 3 of which have been played onthis pc without any problems till about 6 months ago when the game started to crash my pc so i reformatted had it checked out twice by a shop reformatted again upgraded to windows 7 yet its still crashing this only happens while playing lc it doesn't matter if im in combat or sitting in shop mode it doesn't have any pattern to it, sometime i can leave a toon standing all day without a problem another day it will crash 10 + times plz help and good luck trying to work out what this stuff mean

I see nothing overtly wrong.

I would make certain my operating system was fully updated via Windows Update and my drivers for my PC were fully updated at the manufacturer website.

If you run P2P software (torrents, movie sharing sites, etc) in the background that could be causing your issue. As could messenger programs.

Are you playing in full screen or windowed mode? If windowed, are you touching the outer border right before you error out?

When was the last time you defragmented your hard disk drive?

Well thank you for taking the time to look it over, 1 defrag weekly clean junk and check for updates daily i have no sharing programs on my pc in fact all i do with my pc is play lc no music downloads or anything else, i always play in full screen

Does this always happen on ONE subserver, or have you tried other subs?

Maybe try playing in windowed mode and see if it changes things? *just don't touch the edge of the screen after you log in to move the screen or you will error*

Sounds like it might be a subserver issue. If you're noticing this on subserver 5, try subserver 6, and see if the problem persists.

Also, might want to look at the Graphic Settings in Options. Shadow Quality, Visual Distance, and Reflection in particular can add to these problems for some people.

Right, and sometimes there's no logical reason for the DC. My m/c is optimised as is the game, but I still suffer from DC's for no apparent reason. Just one of them things !!
