We've noticed that our community has become increasingly prejudiced against one another in the form of baseless generalizations and inflammatory remarks directed at groups of people. This behavior is unacceptable, and will be met with swift and serious action.
Aeria Games takes great pride in our community, and appreciate that our forums are a place for feedback and interaction between players and staff members. We want our forums to continue to be a place where this connection exists, but stereotyping and prejudice against groups of people cannot be tolerated: Every time a post like this is made, it weakens all of us, and creates an unpleasant atmosphere for everybody who wants to enjoy our forums as a fun and friendly place to share thoughts and ideas.
To be clear, posts flaming or casting a negative image on broad or specific groups of people will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Everyone (trolling)
- Race, religion, or sexual orientation/identity
- Geographical region or nationality
- Aeria staff
- GameSages
- Players of any particular game
- AP spending or non-AP spending players
- Guild affiliation
- Faction affiliation
- PvP level affiliation
- etc etc etc.
Do not attack groups with generalizations or stereotypes: This is behavior that is destructive to our community, and ruins the experience of everybody who visits our forums.
As you already know, you agreed to the Aeria Games
Terms of Service upon creation of your account. Please abide by the rules of the
ToS and
Fair Play policies, and keep the Aeria Games community one where all types of people can feel safe and welcome.
