In order to provide the best gaming experience possible here at Aeria Games, we would love to invite the community to discuss Ignite. The purpose of this thread is to provide feedback. We want to know what is currently working for you and how we can further improve Ignite.

Tracking to get a feedback and see if ignite is worth downloading.

My first impression is this ignite application is worth downloading but I still yet to learn many things about it.

Such as whether it will have meebo application included so I can IM my friends without the need of showing the conversation on public game shoutbox.

Feature that I like is by opening this application, I can also launch my downloaded game on my computer using this application.

Easier to navigate news from different games as well.

Ignite is good when you play a lot of games from Aeria.. but its not handy when you press on a game ( on your desktop ) then first need to start the Ignite up for you can log in into your game.

And.I hate it when I boot up my PC that also the Ignite boot up.

But i like the friendlist thing

What is working for Ignite?
- It serves its basic purpose of bringing client downloads into a single program, without having to navigate to every game's site.

What is not working for Ignite?
- It has a stupidly large memory footprint.
- Many cases have popped up where the forced integration with the installers just isn't working for players. They can't launch the game, and we end up directing them to bypass Ignite.
- It doesn't properly detect all installed games.
- Ignite popping up every time I try to launch any game is intrusive and unnecessary.
- Browser sucks up resources, and any links clicked open up a new browser.

What do you like about Ignite in its current state?
- Very little. Forced integration is generally a terrible idea.

What are your current questions or concerns?
- Memory has been an issue since it was first put into invite-only testing.

What would you like to see added to Ignite?
- Better memory management.
- Proper detection of installed games.
- Integrated browsing.

One program or two playing a game is too many why keeping adding more loading screens.
Ignite Feedback I would rather download one game install instead of having multi game loader screen wasting up my resources or preventing me from playing the game =(

I really like ignite, you dont have to really logg in to check most of the things with ignite, its worth downloading, no problems. Ive got much to learn though. Ive got no friends on ignite hopefully will in future ignite is cool.

Honestly, i think it was better without the ignite.
it causes alot of problems to wolfteam players ( see in technical issues).
besides alot of people disable it..

yo dawg, we heard you like launching, so we put a launcher in your launcher so you can't launch the game 'cause it's bugged out and useless.





On a serious note -- ignite has a lot to improve on. I do agree that it feels like general bloatware because it really serves no purpose to any player other than the PM feature. Which would be great if ignite didn't contain so many errors I've found myself recommending older installers of last chaos for the sheer fact that they don't include Ignite.

If it could one day consolodate launchers to one location, I will be all aboard. Until then, I'm staying away.

Also -- what happened to the beta feedback? I'm pretty sure many people felt the same way when it was in beta as they do now.
