but seriously the real fix to OP prices would be an OP merchant somewhere in game, set price from merchant at about 1 bil, and make sure is advertised in game through announcements. such would both seriously reduce cost of F2P players linking, as well as creating a massive gold sink. resellers would be the only ones upset by this.

the idea that OP are getting bought for 1174 ap now is not just wrong, take a look at the current months tier posting, there is opportunity to get 30 OPs or more just for spending 25001 ap, that is min if person takes the OP mystery boxes each time is offered. last time i checked that would normally cost about 350$ US and those are just prizes for spending 150$ recurring on tier.

Greed is the cause of the current lvl of inflation, if 1 person sells at a higher price than what is current on the AH boards and gets thier asking price, then the other ppl selling the same item will think "hey if he can get that price then so can I" next day AH prices reflect the new price, making it more xpensive, then that same person who managed to raise the price does it again, and again. i wont name anyone here but those ppl who do it are the primary problem with the current inflation in game.

I watched OP's go from 100 mil to 1 bill in less than a week becasue of 1 person.

Who uses OPs to link nowadays? 5s/6s = link during 10% bonus. 7s/rare lapis = use PLH.
