PvP Arenas in Grand Fantasia
Are you ready to rumble adventurer's of Sapheal?

If you answered yes, then this guide will help explain some of functions and types of arenas available in Grand Fantasia. This guide will cover the how to join arena, the three types of arenas, and the rewards of PvPing.

Before you can join arena, let us go over the brackets. You are eligible to enter arena starting at lvl 21. Brackets are then broken up as follows:

• 21-30 Hellfire
  
• 31-40
  
• 41-50
  
• 51-60
  
• 61-70
  
• 71-80
  
• 81-90
  

Example: You are level 58. When you join arena, you are in the 51-60 bracket.

Now that is covered let us go over how to actually join the arenas.

1. Look at the top right off your screen.


2. Right click the battlefield symbol.


3. Choose which battlefield you wish to join.



Once you join, you wait for that arena to be filled. Then the game will automatically start. Players may not join a game in progress.

Also note if you leave arena you get a debuff. This debuff makes it so you cannot join arena for how long the debuff lasts.

Welcome to Whitesands Battlefield. Teams are broken up between two teams. Red Team spawns at the northern spawn and the Blue Team at the southern spawn



How to play:

• Both teams start with 300 points.
  
• At the start of the match there are mobs and 1 miniboss for each team.

• When the Mini's die. The Main Bosses Spawn
  
  
  - Red Team's Main Boss Trenton

• There is a Neutral Crystal found at the centre of the map. It changes colour according who is in control of the crystal. To gain control of it you must attack it. Once it is your colour you must defend it.
  
  
  
  
• The objective is to bring your opponent's score to 0, or to have the highest score by the time the match timer hits zero. To bring down your opponent's score you must gain control of the crystal.
  
• If you have control of the crystal, the other team loses points.
  
• You can also kill the opponent's two main bosses for even more points reduced from your opponent's score.
  

Welcome to HellFire Battlefield. Teams are broken up between two teams. Red Team spawns at the north-western tip while Blue Team spawns at the south-eastern tip.



How to play:

• Both teams start with 0 points.
  
• There is a Neutral Crystal found at the centre of the map. It changes colour according to whom is in control of the crystal. To gain control of it you must attack it. Once it is your colour, you must defend it.
  
  
  
  
• Objective is to get to 250 points first, or have the highest score when the team.
  
• You get points from kills and being in control of the crystal.
  
  
• If you are on the losing team and you are losing by 35 points, then a random person on your team will turn into a dragon to help fight back.

Welcome to Sprite Battlefield (still known as Elf Arena to some). Teams are broken up into two teams. Red team spawns at the northern spawn. Blue team spawns at the southern spawn.


How to play:

• Both teams start with 0 points.
  
• There are 5 crystals on the battlefield. They change between 4 colours.
  
  - White - Can be captured by anyone.
  - Red - Red team controls crystal. Blue team can attack it to change it to their control.
  - Blue - Blue team controls crystal. Red team can attack it to change it to their control.
  - Yellow - Crystal is about to explode. Warnings are given in chat on which ones about to explode are. If you are in radius of when they explode. You will die. After explosion the crystal returns to neutral control.
  
  
• Objective is to get to 250 points first, or have the highest score when the time runs out.
  
• To gain points, you must get kills and capture the crystals.
  
  
• In the 61-70,71-80, and 81-90 brackets, when a team gets to the score of 200. Beldargoth will spawn. Killing Belda will get you prestige, an achievement(if it is your first time killing Belda), and a reward chest sent to your mail.
  

Welcome to the Trial Maze. Free for All player versus player.

How to play:

• Trial Maze only runs at certain times of the day
  - 14:15-14:45 EST
  - 17:00-17:30 EST
  - 21:15-21:45 EST
  - 23:00-23:30 EST
  
  
• Players have five minutes of preparation time once they enter the arena. During this time, they may move freely but may not attack or be attacked by other players.
  
  
  
  
• Player names will be hidden and will all look the same in the interest of fairness.
  
  
  
  
• The battle will last for 25 minutes and those who survive until the end will be the winner.
  
  
• Every fighter will gain character/specialization EXP according to how long they can survive. The ultimate winner will gain 150% character/specialization EXP while the remaining players will gain 50% character/specialization EXP.
  
  
• Fighters will receive the buff, "Ancient Curse", every five minutes. The buff can only be removed by killing another fighter.
  
  
  
  
• "Annihilating Thunder" will appear every five minutes after "Ancient Curse" is received. All players with "Ancient Curse" on their characters will be struck dead by "Annihilating Thunder".
  
  
• Players that kill someone more than 10 levels below their level will receive the "Butchering Curse" that makes them more vulnerable to attack by other players.
  
  
  
  
• The maze also contains chests for players to discover on their own. Players will find out if they help or hurt when opened.
  
  
  
  
• Altars may be used to even the battlefield for a second wind if you are close to defeat.
  
  
  
  
• Beware of the dangers that lurk within the maze!
  
  
  
  
• Reward:
  - In addition to EXP, winners of the battle will have a chance to be awarded Alchemy Materials for level 80 yellow weapons and leg armor.
  
  
  

As you PvP, you can also complete quests to gain even more useful items.

• To get these quests head to Kaslow.
  
  
  
• Head to Sprite United Ambassador(171,206)
  
  
  
• Talk to him to see these options:
  
  
  
  - Accept Battlefield mission- lvl 31-65 kill quests. You accept this to get a scroll which when you right click will give you a quest to kill 2 certain classes. The scroll changes each time you choose it.
  
  
  
  - The second accept battlefield mission- lvl 66+ kill quest. Same thing as before, but the upgraded classes.
  - When you turn in these quests you have a choice of 4 items. Each one can be turned in for different fames at certain NPCs.
  
  
  
  - Alternate Dimension Crystal Fragment - Take these to Hatt in Jale (141,134)
  - Alternate Dimension Flower of Illusion - Take these to Noe in Illya (310,266)
  - Alternate Dimension Wondrous Beast's Tooth - Take these to Andre in Kaslow (249,54)
  - Alternate Dimension Crystal Energy- Take these to Sprite United Ambassador in Kaslow (171,206)
  
  
• Battlefield Domination - Quest line that you complete by killing a number of people and turning it in for a reward.
  

Now that you have PvP'd you must be wondering what sort of rewards there are from PvPing.

• After each completed round of PvP in the Battlefields, you gain Sapheal's Heart fame. The max of this fame you can have at one time is 50k.
  
  
  
  
• This Fame can be traded for various items at the chests right behind the Sprite Ambassador mentioned earlier in the post.
  - Weapon Box - Contains special orange weapons with unique stats and bonuses.
  - Material Box - Contains mounts, consumables to be used in PvP, talent scrolls, and sprite emblems. Mounts and consumables are bought with PvP points, but scrolls and emblems are bought with in game gold (However, to use these items you need the right amount of fame)
  - Armor Box - Contains the PvP Sets. These are the main reasons to PvP. Each class has a PvP set for lvls 45, 55, 65, 75, and 85.
  - Reward Box - Contains orange crafting material and fortune bags that contain various items depending on your class and level.

But can you tell wether points are accumulated? Say, if i keep all my points when i pvp at lvl 40, can i use those to buy
Pvp set for lvl 65?
And can you also tell how much pvp points is needed to purchase a set of armor for each lvl bracket?
So players will have an idea how much are they saving for and how much more do they still need to save..

Is it bannable attacking enemies at their spawn area during PvP? What shud i do if i saw those who do such thing?
