Hello again.
Well, I haven't been playing DWO in ages, which is sad because I love Dynasty Warriors, own all the games, know every character, and love using all the weapons. But I have been a little busy and on vacations and stuff and I didn't have much time to play the game. Same with my sister
NuWa.CD1, she hasn't been online much at all but now we are getting back in the game and trying to rank up those Honor points.
However, since we have been playing DWO since closed beta, we have many friends in the game. Most of them are not even in the same force as us but that is fine. I remember long ago how some of them would be sad at the fact that their parents don't want to spend money in a game they play online. Although those are normal thoughts by an adult, which normally adults don't even play video games (nowadays it's the other way around). Still, I've been wanting to give those people that could never get/make Aeria Points a chance to get it.
The way it is done is by a "Weekly Contest". It's quite simple, you enter the contest, if you win, you get Aeria Points sent from me or my sister. I don't care about your rank, I don't care about your Honor points, I don't care who you are, if you enter and win... You get the Aeria Points.
REQUIREMENTS
(
A ) Everyone in the contest has to have
NO GEAR on while doing the matches. This is made this way to give even new Recruit ranks a chance at winning.
(
B ) Weapons can only be Rank 1 (level one) with
no tempers. 1 star temper will have you disqualified from the contest automatically.
(
C ) You must be either in SHU or WEI to participate because me and my sister are not in any other force for now.
(
D ) You will
not flask Def/Att/Dam/Musou/Life while in the contest match.
(
E ) You will
not use any flask abilities while in the contest match (as in not using any x2 Def or x2 Att).
(
F ) You
must flask combo 3 stars (full combo) while in the contest match.
(
G ) You
may use musou while in the contest match.
(
H ) You will
not use any items while in the contest match.
(
I ) Matches will be done in a MOCK battle.

J )
Weapons with Hyper Armor can not be used (like T.Picks and T.Maces). This does [b]not include the weapons that only give you Hyper Armor as an advanced (like the Claws for example).[/b]
HOW TO ENTER CONTEST
When a contest comes around, me and/or my sister will be in the game... But hidden somewhere on the map. We can be hidden in the Peach garden, or hidden somewhere in the Central/East/West Plaza. The 1st players to find us automatically will be in the contest. And what I mean by "hidden", I mean as in just standing somewhere that isn't very common.
CONTEST TYPES
The contest types will all be different every week. I will be improvising to make the contest interesting for everyone to try out and have some fun while you try to win it. Me and my sister will be in the match overseeing it as the battle progresses. We will be active in the battle but will not fight at all, we are to be ignored by the player(s) unless otherwise specified. Here is a list of what the contest will be holding for now:
0. Rivals = Here, me and my sister fight each other only. The 1st 4 players to find us is automatically part of the contest. In this mode, the 4 player bet on who they think will win. Will it be me?.. Or will it be my sister?.. The one who wins the fight, those that betted on that person automatically earn the Aeria Points prize.
1. Maximum Takedown = You fight me, if you can beat me, you automatically earn the Aeria Points prize.
2. Zenith Takedown = You fight my sister NuWa.CD1, if you can beat her, you automatically earn the Aeria Points prize.
3. Supply Defense = In this match, me or my sister will decide on a base that needs to be captured (will always be a yellow base). That base needs to be captured and held by the player until the time runs out. The players that has control of that single base when the time runs out... You automatically earn the Aeria Points prize.
4. General Takedown = In this match you fight either me or my sister. But we will be fully flask. However, we will
not go around getting meat buns or HP recovery items at all. You will have no gear on, and you will be fighting with a rank 1 weapon... So we will be as if we were an "Unrivaled General". The first person to kill us automatically gets the Aeria Points prize.
5. Brutal Confront = A stranded mock of 3 verses 3. The winning team automatically gets the Aeria Points prize.
6. Base Hoggers = In this mode, one team is placed in a base while the other team must attack that team
without taking the base. If the base is captured, we will move to another base. When a player from the
defending team is defeated, that player must stay out of the match for the rest of the game. The point in this match is to beat the 4 members of the other team as fast as you can while trying not to capture the base. The point to not capturing the base is so the defending team heals automatically, which makes it more interesting. When the match is over, the time it took will be recorded. The next match, the attacking team will become the defenders and so, the defenders become the attackers and will have to meet or beat the time the first team had. Now, if all bases in the map are captured by the attacking team, the defending team automatically wins. The defending team can not leave the base they are in that same base until it is captured. No one can take down the supply base either. The attacking team can be defeated and re-spawned as many times as needed to defeat the other team.
7. Guild Battle = 3 verses 3 guild member battle. They all fight each other in a normal confront match. The winning Guild will not only gets the Aeria Points prize, but we might also donate Guild Gems to their Guild to support them.
9. Guild Defense = 3 verses 3 guild member battle. Me or my sister will capture a random base (will always be a yellow base). The winning guild not only gets the prize Aeria Points, but we might will also donate Guild Gems to their Guild to support them.
PRIZES
Prizes will vary, from $5-$50 Aeria Points depending on our mood on that day. The contest types will be updated with more as we come up with more ways to play the game. We might have our 1st contest this weekend!
OTHER INFORMATION
While in a battle, if the match is a 1 verses 1, other players may join the mock to check out the battle as it progresses. However, you can only enter as a spectator, nothing else.
P.S.
Just because it says "Weekly Contest" doesn't mean that a contest will be held every single weekend. Sometimes I have work on many things on the weekends so I can't do much on here. Though my sister would more likely come around, she might post something on this thread and create a contest herself. If nothing is done, then the next weekend will be chosen. Sometimes, we might just make a contest on the weekdays when we notice way too many people crying about being bored on the chat to the center-right of the website.
