High Roller benefits

What other benefits/services are there for spending significant amounts of cash?
I usually dont post on the boards, so forgive me if there is a previous post on this somewhere..

Why is there no special benefits and or services offered for high dollar spenders? As far as I can see there is only the tier spending rewards. Would Aeria Games consider implementing these kinds of programs?

How much does one have to spend a month to be considered a whale/high roller/big spender?

I wouldn't be interested in making the game unfair per say, but surely a company that offers a great product and is in the business of making profit can be a little more creative than tier spending rewards.

The benefit is you dominate the game without any effort....

Buy all the EoM tiers from all their games, maybe then you can be consider high roller.

Sorry but this post made me LOL my arse off constantly, the fact you are a "high dollar" spender means you can already do the unbelievably stupidly overpriced Tiers etc and pretty much own most people in PVP is this not enough for you ???? PM's screwed up the balance of the game giving you guys everything you want and more yet your still not satisfied LOL maybe some free ROTCO gears from item mall maybe being as your so rich ?
Im trying hard not to be rude but wallet warriors are whats killing the game and your on here asking for more kinda upsets me.

AP offers a lot items that aren't farm-able in game...
AP offers a huge short-cut to farming for your gear...
AP offers people with 0 knowledge of the game to become god-status...

If you're not looking for the game to "become" unfair towards AP buyers then you should have posted this in EP4, where AP spending was nowhere near as affective as it is now...

I hate to say it but, EP5 should have been called AP5, there are no viable ways of farming that wouldn't take you months to acquire a full 70 (AP or ROTCO) set, with max links and at least 2x max OJs, with high enchants and 4+ high enchanted weapons (debuff links cost even more).

Of course you could create a top-tier guild and farm ROTCO, and just steal all of the drops for yourself, so let's say there's no viable, honourable way to farm your gear to the standard of an AP buyer without it taking 30x as long.

I know people that spend like.. over.. 10k a month.. and they arent even what would be considered at the top of the uber list atm.. so, as for how much.. alot Wink

Not really about what you spend/have, its what you do with it.. but.. the gear and being able to get whatever you want whenever you want it, certainly does help. Most of the people I considered 'uber' on gaia.. who ofc all quit, never bought ap a single time with $, bought in game with ops for years and could outlast the high ap spenders.. yes.. better to break the bank.. but you can still suck in uber gears.. seen it too many times Razz

I have a couple ideas.

Without redesigning the game a few simple ways to lure spenders is simply send emails that say thank you and or happy birthday notes. (The trolls would laugh at this, but this is a business. And customers who are generous like to be appreciated) It wouldn't be too hard to figure out who spends the cash and making an email blast should only take a few minutes. Even making small surveys designed to capture more data and feedback would be beneficial to both parties. A monthly/quarterly "personal" newsletter updating the big spender on the company that gives a "insider information" feel to it wouldn't hurt either.

As far as actually creating things in game for the spender, maybe the surprise linking hammer or recreation coin could be found in their bank every month or so. Nothing over the top, but just a small thank you gift.

There are other things one can do if your team sat and thought about it. Remember; take care of the big spender and they will take care of you. The things I mentioned doesn't bring unwanted attention, yet they make a spender feel appreciated.
