I have given alot of myself to this community. From giving my time to answer peoples questions, looking up information for them, guiding them through sending in tickets. Giving away ap items that i have purchased or won. I won one of the ROTCO raffles and got some boots, i gave this away to someone without good gear who was trying to PvP. In a party, if someone needs to leave for the benefit of the group, i will volunteer. I consider myself to be a nice, kind and giving person.

You know where that has gotten me? It has gotten me taken advantage of and abused. Shat apon by the community. Today was the last straw when i was kicked out of a party for an unfair reason. Well congrats shaiya community, you have turned me into one of you now. No more lending out my gear to people in need, no more giving away free items, no more helping people with their questions. Selfish all the way is apperently the way to go. Each to their own. Every man for himself.

It is always a sad time when nice people experience the cruel reality we live in. I also learnt the hard way, many years ago, and as such I am very reluctant to trust people, especially online.

I will say this though, you gain absolutely nothing by being a selfish person in the end, and you will go to your grave alone. A nice person will suffer all the hardships of life as well, but at least by the end of it they will have friends around them, true friends that do not forget the little bits of kindness, even if they were too shy to thank you at the time.

there still are some good players around there, but i admit i have a hard time finding them myselves... i spend my time soloing alot (even when i was a REC-def) cause of the incredible amount of buttwipes
but its my guildies that keep me going, i dont care much for the greedy idiots and selfish bastards, theyre a majority but dont form the community

Esme <33. this will happen to me anyway no matter what i do.

I know there are nice people in game, i know who some of them are even Razz

but its not what it used to be. I quit for a few months, then coming back to game expected it to be the same. But unfortunately (or fortunately) you cannot turn back time.
