Yeah, we need to improve the community overall. That along with some intelligent decisions from Aeria it will probably work out to some extent.
Fewer servers with a high player limit is a must, anyone who played i-gunz will probably agree with me (or if not, why?). The only way the games social infrastructure can work is if there's enough people to play with (across all skill/level ranges), having 20 servers with way too few people to fill them is pointless.
There's so, so many things any individual can do, anything from doing advertising such as pointing people in this direction to making videos/stream/make tournies/other events/whatever. And as mentioned try to work to reduce the ego whoring, atleast against newbies, also, did you know the most efficient anti-ego tactic is to good manner?
It's hilarious how people get confused and angry about the curious development and thinks you're ultra egoing when you're actually just being nice.

Definitely agreed and I can vouch for the last part

I've chilled out a lot over the years so I'm usually fairly nice even when ego'd, it's hilarious how they react. It's also funny to play along with it sometimes.
Setting an example and encouraging others to follow you is always the best way to teach. I have been and will continue trying to be the type of person I can be proud to be, and encourage others to do the same.
Although my morals and beliefs might be a little different to the majority it's fine as long as I'm nice about it.
