Why are we forced to download annoying bloatware when we download LC now? and when we try to get rid of it it still tries to download

You can download LC from alternative sites such as http://www.gamershell.com so you don't need Ignite.

I uninstalled Ignite and used the LC application located in the LastChaosUSA folder. Ignite was a stupid idea to be honest. I hate MMOs and FPS where you have to download some annoying program that is unnecessary (and quite the female dog to get rid of).

I like it, when i log on LC i can see my Forums profile.. and if i have msg's.. IGNITE is cool!!!

i have no issues with ignite, its memory footprint is very minimal, only using 30-35mb, which I can more than easily spare....and since I disabled Uploads within Akamai, it doesnt utilize any network bandwidth for the peer2peer part of akamai'

I will try this later, thanks. I tried just uninstalling ignite and I couldn't launch LC loool. Like -_- why? Bloatware should be uninstallable.

I do have a problem with ignite since it launches before it lets LC launch it's launcher... ~_~ that in itself annoys me. Not about to log into it either, I see no point :l

Yes it is a shame they have added this as I have always used LC download no problems all my stay with aeria.

Am considering using an alt download for first time next time.

Some may consider it useful but it’s not essential to run the game client and so is bloatware. It’s not made explicitly clear when downloading Last Chaos that it’s bundled with Ignite/Akamai NetSession Interface and I saw no means to opt out of its installation. I don’t appreciate having my bandwidth hijacked for P2P by default.

If you like it, great but it shouldn’t be forced on users. It’s possible to download the game and subsequently uninstall Ignite/Akamai but it’s a nuisance and we shouldn’t have to.

I am not the biggest fan of aeria ignite. I feel they prematurely released it with an unclear intent of what it's purpose is. As it is, I feel it is half way done. It would be great if it could patch my game and the option of updating all my games I have installed if I click another bottom. Kind of like Google Play where I can update all my application if I want. Do I need the same, old video of Last Chaos there? Why not more of a focus on what is new and what is coming up? Just some ideas.

I really do not know if everyone has this option as I have downloaded Aeria Ignite as a tester. If you do, use it and leave your constructive feedback. I honestly think so much more can be done with ignite as a way to replace every game's launcher.
