Sorry to go kinda off-topic from the forum point of view, but I think private messages notifications might not be working right... for I've sent a private message to andaro several days ago now and it seems like it has not been read yet, even though I've seen a post from him since then.

He is ignoring you

I have yet to get all emails from all pms... (havent gotten a single notification and yes it is ticked in settings)
Another things I have noticed, the little green '1' doesnt show up unless you relog on visit your inbox by chance

That little green (bag) 1 shows up on my Profile or when I relog, sometimes when refreshing as well.

I'll double check my messages, send again just in case.
Or if you wish, you can add my public yim, located on my profile.
