What do you like, what don't you like?

What do you like the most about GunZ? and also, What do you hate the most about GunZ?

I like concept of using glitches and bugs to design modern day gameplay, also known as kstyle, dstyle, etc. These styles make the game unique, it separates this game from any other fps & tps. The game is based on skill, so even at level one you are able to take on a level 60. I also like how, even though we have found out about these styles, we haven't explored everything thing yet, there is so many more combos, possibilities to explore.

What I hate the most would be the ego community, I dislike how it has gotten to the point where its the nature of GunZ. Its normal to "ego", but in reality its pointless.

Ego is easily the worst part about the game in my opinion. Not as much hackers around anymore, but I still consider the ego the worst. I have a strict no ego code, hoping people would follow me by example but somehow ego still circulates :/ People ego when they win OR lose. I personally think respectful and friendly competitiveness is when the game is most fun.

On the other hand, I love swording. I still need to clean up the basic fundamentals but I love how it adds a strategic approach to the game and how matches can turn around when someone gains the upper hand through combo. Friendly spars are my favorite. I hope to be a decent gladiator some day.

I like the simple glitches and bugs. For example, elevating, when you slash on a ledge you just flloat there, the bouncing glitch , etc . On the other hand there is the terrible glitches. Like the error log nade glitch :/ That angers me alot lol .

The level of depth in gladiator fascinates me and has kept me coming back for many years. A good gladiator match on GunZ surpasses any type of battle in terms of fun I can have in any other single player or pvp experience just because it takes more skill than any other game I've played.

That's what I like. What I don't like is the play-to-win mindset of 99.99% of the community where they'll play as cheap as possible in order to get a kill. That and reload shot.

The freedom you have in the game provides the chance for so much it's difficult to state any one thing you like without being vague or incomplete.
What I love is the freedom of movement and attacking, much of which is thanks to k-style. In gladiator it really lets a person fight how THEY want to, rather than forcing them to fight one way to survive (kill fast, kill first).

But as previously mentioned the ego is the real killer. Too many people are obsessed with winning or don't get into the game and so barely have any fun playing it.
Some others are blinded by prejudice, whether it be a certain game type or a certain play style (turtle, flipping, side pedal ect are all under this category) and rather than learn how to deal with it, they complain, rage and just plain QQ. In that situation the one who wins is the "noob" doing the thing you hate, whether you beat them or not.
Whoever rages at the end of the match loses because they're not having fun.

The ego part is most likely the worst part of the game. Although this game require a lot of skill. And if your skills aren't good enough, people ego. I hope this new community will get better!

I like the all the styles, and I like the games we've created like A and D(although I would like to see some more dungeon DMs that aren't hide and seek), and I've even sort of liked the recent forum community. I like that Factory, and a few other TDMs are popping up. I hope in the future more ports, factorys, train stations, and Ship matches start happening. Cause town is dumb and is made for SG/SG. I also like that I've seen more diversity in weapons lately.

There are some things I don't like though.
1. The Ego, where people talk trash even if you didn't say anything, then you own them and they say "Boring." and RQ. Lame.
2. This idea that SG/SG is the only way to play, any kills to the contrary are illegitimate or "luck" or noob. I would understand getting killed by someone like Darknightman as illegitimate, but otherwise if people are using a variety of weapons and beating SG pros they should get the same respect.
3. The lack of support for beginner players. No mouse wheel support, no spray weapon support, just new shotguns all the time, and basically forcing new players to learn how to play with the numbers/learn DBF+. I know the SG's sell the most, but if you actually made a GOOD non SG wep I think there would be enough supporters.
4. Finally, team stacking. Its hard to find games where the pros actually go to different teams. They usually kinda know who each other are, and games are just pro stacked and killed within minutes. I like going on the lesser teams sometimes for the challenge, and so the game doesn't suck.
