Most Legend of Epic Hero Scrolls come from Stoneheage Wilds or other of those type. Read the Description when you click on a Wild. Also They can be obtained from Benards Attack Quest. I got like 20 of almost every hero lol.
Hope this helps. Also, You'll never find a SPECIFIC hero in any giving area or wild.
There are other ways to Obtain a certain hero but they involve money.
