I know there are some old posts about it but I'd need fresh answers =)

- How does it work exactly? Meaning where can the battle take place? Conditions about some skills (def/pog allowed) or potions for example?
- What does the winner get? [GvG] tag or GRB points or bosses to kill?

Last time I was in one ...

GvG Battle can happen pretty much anywhere (we did ours in the middle of Gliter)

It's anything goes PvP between the guilds so it's probably a good idea to make sure that those members of each guild that don't want to participate leave the area, as once the battle commences they can be targeted/killed by the "enemy" guild whether they wanted to be or not.

UMs need runes (if memory serves)

Guild Points are supposed to be granted, but I honestly can't remember if any were or not.

First side eliminated loses.

But GvG can be done between different faction guilds right? I just wondered what would happen if the two guilds tried on a pvp map, could other pvpers interfere in the battle?

I'm fairly sure GvG can only be done against your own faction, but if you can find an enemy guild leader who's willing to give it a try in a borderland or linked PvP can't hurt to try.

Worst that happens is it doesn't work.

Although I have not checked this extensively, the GvGs our guild has done do not suggest it affects the guild rank points in any way.
