With your models, how does LUC work with the new lapis for EP6? Stat 8 lapis will give 55 points. So then we would be replacing that Craft 5 with a Craft 8. So then we would be comparing a Craft 6 with a either a Luc 7 or Luc 8.
With the new duals of giving 2 stats of 25 and 30 points each.
With Life 8 at 2200 HP there may be a drive to have Life 7 and Life 8. Korea has Absorb 7 - 100, Absorb 8 - 150, and Absorb 9 for 200. Right now Aeria doesn't sell the Absorb 7, but with Absorb 8 and 9 being available, they may just start offering the 7 soon, and then think about selling Absorb 8.
With the additional Stat Lapis, I am wondering if the LUC builds will become even more obsolete than they are now.
yes they will. Hunters will most likely link Craft 7/8 Shrewd 7/8 Dual Craft 6 Ele II over linking Luc, Purely because Evasion is their defense, and there will be warriors our there competing with them over dex, having 200 more dex available wil probably be key. I do see them putting a Fortune 8 in a cap, maybe in the weapon. But otherwise, Str/Dex will trump on pvp builds.
Now, don't misconstrue what I'm saying here.
Str 7/8 Luc 7/8 Dex 8 would give a higher damage output than Str 7/8 Dex 7/8 Dual Craft 6. But, when someone's linking overall, they factor in pvp too. To do the PVP Dex build, you have to sacrifice alot of Luc to max that happen.
Here's an example of what a Str/Dex hunter would do versus a Str/Luc hunter:
Now, lets plug in the same damage equation for the two different charts.
(((5982.4*1.4)-0)*1.5) + (1358* RDM# 0-1.5) = 12563 - 14600
(((6006.9*1.4)-0)*1.5) + (1523* RDM# 0-1.5) = 12614.49 - 14899
In other words, switching 125 Dex for 165 more luc, yields 51- 299 more damage. But, it also makes you alot closer to the dex a Fighter can pull off, so it might not be worth it.
