How do I know if Java is installed? From the Go menu on your desktop, click on Utilities and launch Java Preferences if you find it. From there, check the version column. If number is not 1.6.0_31-b04-413, then follow the instructions below for protecting your machine. If you don't find Java Preferences, please disregard this e-mail.
