About the Akamai program...

Not only it made one game unplayable, but it aslo caused my internet prize to go up.
Alright, so i wanted to play DWO a few times, but for some reison, i had *huge* fps problems after some time playing it, even on minimal resolution. (2-4 FPS)

It took quite a few time to figure out what was the problem.

After reading the forums, i found out about this program (Akamai), and aparently it took quite a bit of power to run, because after removing it completely, the game now runs fine.

Now you say : *Wy don't you post this in DWO forums?*

Well, theres something that is MUCH worse that this, id explin :

Now, theres other thing about this program...it aparently nearly tripled the use of my broadbrand, and this caused my internet prize to go up!

I request that aeria remove this program completely, form ALL downloaders using this.
I was never able to know what caused my internet prize to go up lately, but now i know.

I paid an extra 100-150$ that normally in the last 6 months because of this program running, at that time, i never known it was actually the cause.

Anyway, if any of you have an broadbrand limit, BE SURE to delete it, or it will make you go over the limit, and you will need to pay the extra cost....like i did.

join the "no for akamai" thread

what you have experienced is a known problem by some people on the forums. It got found by the community itself. Aeria didn't informed the customers about it Confused

You not keeping your eye on your internet usage does not make Akamai a bad program :/

When you have "limits" you're supposed to keep an eye on those Limits and know when you're reaching them

I don't see anywhere in his post saying that it is a bad program. I see only that its requirements to run are extremely high, which is bad. And that is a fact.

There is nothing that would suggest the contrary in what the original poster wrote.

The thing is...the random person would have no idea WHAT eats that bandwidth. He said clearly that he only recently just found out WHAT made him lose so much of it. Furthermore, it seems that people are not even warned about it being bundled together with whatever game they want to download.

In other words, your post was completely pointless...
