last chaos is 16-bit

the only download from the main website is 16-bit. how can i get it to work on a 64- bit computer?
im running a dell with an intel i5 and windows 7. whenever i download the game from the website it finishes then an error pops up saying that the game is 16 bit and cannot be run on my computer because it is using 64 bit. is there any way to get around this and run it on my computer?

Well, you would have to change the nksp.exe properties to run in win xp sp 3 mode or vista 32 bit mode. That usually makes it work.

Hello there ^^

Well I guess there must be some sort of issue with your computer, because I also am running a 64 bits version of Windows 7 and had no problem running the latest downloader, installer or the game itself.

I have the same problem. no one has provided an answer yet, and all the corporate support would do is direct me to the forum. no one has figured out how to fix this yet?!

and i doubt my computer has issues, as it is not even a month old yet

Just because it's pretty much new doesn't mean there cannot be a problem with it.
Though I don't know precisely what may cause the problem, the program is definitely not 16 bits, so...
Just in case, did you perform a complete WindowsUpdate and check for driver/bios updates ?

Right click your LC icon on your desktop. Go to Properties, go to Compatibility. Choose Run this program in compatibility mode for....then either XP or Vista or another option.

Then save, exit, right click your LC icon and choose Run as Administrator.

I don't run updates from windows, as they tend to slow my system down rather than make it better

i also went through and tried changing compatibility to each of the windows options available. no luck with any of them, and i still get the same message.
