Hey thx for making me have a **** time starting this game

Very pissed of Noob
Hey i have played much much dynasty warrios over the years. so i just started playign this onlinegame. i started getting very pissed how slowly it was to get 200 honor points to get guard wasting 2 and a half hours to get only 52 honor points. then i looked on this forum and i saw someone say if u got a s the first mission u can get guard right away. WHUT THE FK!!!!!!!!? why didnt it say in game if u get s in first mission u can pass all the **** grinding?( and i MEAN TOTAL **** GRINDING)

So i made a new account, basicaly wasting 2+ hours of my night working for 52 honor points when all i had to do is get a s first battle. further more when i made my new account and did first battle it diconnected me, then i rejoined, then it disconnected me again..... then after ther 5th fricken time it let me in and im a guard now. I just want to let the makers of this game know that this is a TERRIBLE WAY TO INTRODUCE new players to the game. the onyl reason i stayed with it is cause i love dynasty warriors.

omagah you had it rough,my sympathies.
but to be honest it is better not to skip those beginning training missions.
you learn some good things there(no I can not remember what-only it is basic stuff you could miss out on if you go strait to 200)
and for the server.
ya-wait 20 minutes for a 5 minute game.
(what other game do you do this in ?)
this game really is not freindly to new people at all.
for honer try to do Sd or ask people to let you tag along for farms or arenas.
the nice ones will let you even if you get 0 kills in arena Smile
sd=show downs

Actually...in the game it does say if you do well on the first task you can get guard. That's a clue you missed yourself, can't blame others for it, although as a new player it be an advantage to ask around on the forums before starting the game.

Another thing, if you can complain about how long it takes just for you to get 200 honor, imagine how much grinding you'll have to do for higher ranks. It takes time and patience to achieve ranks, be the low or high ones. And honestly, lower ranks are definitely the easiest to get, and you'll see that later once you've played more.

The disconnecting thing, a common issue amongst all players. Especially as of late. Our server isn't in the best form, and depending on your location, internet speed, and quality of your computer, DC'ing and crashing may become more or less likely to happen. It sucks, but that's just how it is. Can get either get use to it now, or quit before you get sucked into the world of DWO.

As far as being new to the game, welcome! Sorry that you didn't get the memo on most of the stuff that happens on the server, but in the future, try using the forum, shoutbox, or talking to a GS for any questions or issues you may have. Getting some game info wouldn't hurt at all. And as a new player, there's a lot of things you'll want to learn and know.

Honestly, every MMO is about the same.

You start naked and have to farm though everything, in an almost zombie like manner, before you get to know the mechanics and can actually blend with the community.

Unless your have a friend that drag you into this.

I feel the same way when I first start my account and play SMT Imagine here man. First day only farming Pixie and Hua Po for xp. Not until 3 days later that I do my first dungeon run, with a group of total strangers.

2 hours of 52 honors isn't so bad considering it's your first time; skipping tutorial might not do you any good anyway in retrospect to learn about the game. Just take slow and steady pace.

Disconnecting is a common issue in all aeria games too, to add.

One thing I can say for sure is that don't expect everything go your way just because you already have the experience with Dynasty Warriors console games. You can't just set this online version on beginner mode and breeze everything thru to uber weapon level 4 or 5 (or 10, whichever is the number in the latest installment).

It's a lot better to do the training missions than it is just to skip them.
And my god, you did it very quick.

In the begining, I had no idea what the heck I was doing and I was a 'recruit' for a good two weeks before I even thought to ask for help.

Try finding yourself a guild in the faction you chose.
It will really help you understand the merchanics of the game quicker, and you will make some friends who will help you.

Actually if you didn't ace the first battle then that means you're meant to start from scratch
If you're jumping ahead of yourself then I can almost guarantee you that you'll have a even rougher time later on
simply because you didn't get any of those basis at all
Count it a blessing that you have a little bit stronger foundation thru those hours you spent
They won't be in vain

Actually no other people have either misunderstood or sympathetically lied to you
Disconnecting from Guard test is NOT COMMON
I'm not a computer major but if you got disconnected while doing a solo quest,
it's most likely your connection or computer's problem
Check again to see if your computer hardware is up to date

Hope this helps, enjoy your stay
You'll love this game ^^

when i first started i had no clue about the flask system
I thought you strengthened your weapon by using the 2X flasks and wondered how come my attack never got stonger(cause i always used the 2X attack )is that lame or what?

It's chill -o-

But like it's been said, just use the forum more. Its for a lot more than just having random topics. -o-

And yeah, like Maatuki said, start looking for a newbie friendly guild to help you string you along. Having friends in this game helps out soooo much. ^^ Although, there are some guilds you wont be able to get into. Pretty much the ones who only want "experienced" players, but there are still some that will help at teaching you the ropes. Example: Einherjar of CC

Btw, which faction are you in?
