Okay! So, here's AyaSnow's totally awesome basic guide to hero quests! Very Happy

So first off, let's assume we're doing an offensive quest because... well.... Monty's offensive lulz. So! First of all, look at the things I put a box around. These are what we'll be using to determine the numbers on our side of the battle.
1) Assault - this means that it's an offensive fight, meaning we'll be using our troops' fighting capacity, not their defense against whatever.
2) Your Soldiers - here we've got 200, so that's the first number we'll be writing down.
3) Fighting Capacity - that unit's fighting capacity, 450 in this case, is the second number we'll be writing down.
4) Monty's attack - the hero's attack is the last number on our side... in this case, it's 839.

Now multiply the number of soldiers by their fighting capacity to get that unit's base attack, which in this case is 90,000.

Next, take your hero's attack and move the decimal over by three. If you started with 839, you'll have .839. Make sense? After that, add 1.0 to that decimal, giving you 1.839 for this example. Multiply that number by your unit's base attack to get your total attack. (90,000 times 1.839 in this case.)

Now, some of you might be saying something like "what about your skills?" Well, since there are still a few inconsistencies when the numbers are very close, I usually leave this calculation out, making me underestimate my fighting capacity a bit. That way I don't need to worry. Very Happy However, if you want to do them, it's similar to the hero attack. Take the percentage (say you have +10% fighting capacity to mages, since that's the troop used here) and reduce it to a decimal (so 10% to .10) and add 1.0 (so .10 to 1.10), then multiply that by the number you got before.

Now for the other side!

For the NPC's side in offensive quests, you need to check these items:
1) Army Type - this lets you know what type of unit they're defending against... in this case, it's mages.
2) Enemy Forces - this is how many troops you're going up against.
3) Fighting Capacity vs... - this lets you know that troop's defense against your troop type. So here we look at vs. Mages because we're using mages.
4) Quest Difficulty - this modifier works like the hero attack modifier.

So what you're going to do here is multiply the number of enemy forces by their fighting capacity against your troops. In this case, that works out to be 1397 x 65, or 90,805. Next you need to find out what the modifier is.

Here we're fighting a medium difficulty one, so we'll multiply by 1.15, giving them a total defense of 104,425.75. Is this less than our attack?

Yes. ^_^ Therefore, we can fight this group and win.

Aaaaand, as confusing as I probably made it, those are the basics. Hope that helps some of you. If I made a mistake, let me know so I can fix it. I'm kinda sick right now so I mighta messed up lulz.

Moving Cities

There are two items you can use to move a city. The first is the Moving Contract.

When you double-click on this, you get a pop-up allowing you to chose a city.

After selecting a city, if you click Move, that city will move to a random location within the same map.

Alternatively, you can use an Advanced Moving Signet, or AMS, available through either the item mall or the Alliance Store.

AMSs are waaaaaay more useful. As before, double=click it.

As you can see, this time you can specify which city, which map, AND what coordinates within that map. Be careful you don't mess up though! Once you use one of these, you can't move that city again for 24 hours! If you need to have a nervous breakdown and have multiple people check to make sure you've got the right inputs, then do it Very Happy Better that then saying "oh, sorry guys, I moved my city into Emerald Woods instead of Silver Beach" or something. ^_^

Another thing to consider when moving your city is the army you're moving with it. The easiest way to make sure you take your army with you is to just dismiss that army into that city. However, if you're like me and hate dismissing armies for some OCD reason, make sure any armies you want to move fulfill the following conditions. Make sure they:

 • Actually are your armies. Example: Bonushand can't move Linden's armies with his city.
 • Are garrisoned at that city. Moving a city while your army's exploring at a farmland nearby leaves your army stranded.
 • Are feeding from that city (like super fat grain vampires). If your army is garrisoned at MountDoom but is getting their food from MinisTirith, moving MountDoom will leave that army behind.

One last note: after moving your city, you'll be under movement protection for the next 8 hours. Movement protection prevents your army from fighting anything other than wildernesses (or wonders if they're close enough) and other armies from doing anything with your city, be it garrisoning or attacking or plundering. That means that if you're moving your city for war purposes, you need to be sure you move in time for movement protection to run out. It also means that if you were planning on moving one of your armies to that city after moving it, you'll have to wait, which can be annoying.

Category: Sanctum City
Sub-Category: Resource Supplier
Resource Supplier Gavin is located in the Sanctum City Market (2350,10)
Here you can buy or sell resources: Grain, Lumber, Stone and Iron. You can trade with Gavin or other players.

Buying:
1. [NPC trade]Your can buy resources from Gavin at 1 coin per 1 resource. In other words, 10,000 grain will cost you 10,000 coins. Or 5,000 Lumber wil cost 5,000 coins etc.
2. [NPC trade}You also have the option of purchasing a Commerce Guild Contract (for 30 gold in the market) which will decrease the price of the resources 1 coin per 3 resources. Now 10,000 Grain will cost 3,333 coin and 5,000 Lumber will cost 1,666. That’s a 66% DISCOUNT!!!! N.B. You need 1 Commerce Guild Contract for every 8,000 resources that you purchase.
3. [Sire trade]Buying from player: It is worth a try to buy from other players if you want to wait and take the risk. Buying from other players means you need to bid on the items and wait to win the auction. You will need a market to buy from other players and the level of your market will determine how many items you can buy at a time. So simply click on purchase, place your bid and hope for he best. The auctions occur every 30 minutes
a. “Resources in trade/round” is the number of units you are allowed to buy/sell at one time
b. “Trade quantity/round” is the number of times your can buy/sell
c. “Trade resources/day” is the total number of resources your can trade for the day.
d. The top bidders are posted at the bottom of the window.

Selling:
1. You can sell to Gavin for 1 coin for 10 resources. Selling 10,000 Grain will earn you 1,000 and selling 5,000 Lumber will earn 500 coins.
2. If you have the Guild Commerce Contract then the selling price will be the same as the purchase price. 10,000 Grin will sell for 3333 and 5,000 Lumber will sell for 1,666 coins. You will however need 1 Commerce Guild Contract for every 5000 units that you sell.
3. Selling to another player: Simply click sell and set your price. Don’t forget that Gavin sells for 1 coin each, so putting a price of 1 coin does not really attract buyers. You will be able to see low prices in the market and the high bids to give you an idea of what price you should set.

tested a 7* reforged weapon with hardly vitality against a normal weapon with 35 vitality on a def hero.
A weapon gives no defense, only attackpoints. when i look at battlevideo's it says :
battlepower with 7* weapon, hardly vitality is 7987855, with normal weapon 35 vitality it is 5.646984.
That means, that it is better to have lots of attackpoints for a defender then vitalaty and defensive points

On occasion, Aeria sends us lovely sire outfits. You might also receive some from events and tiers. However, these are limited time items that will disappear after a certain number of days. The problem with this is that the time will also count down while the item is in your bag. So if you're currently wearing a maid outfit and get an angel outfit, what should you do?

Leave it in your mail! Items' remaining time normally does not count down while still in the mail (a good thing, because how terrible would it be to miss a day of logging in and discover your event rewards had disappeared in the meantime). This feature isn't good forever - mails disappear after 10 days - but it helps.

Additionally, what if there are two limited time items in a mail, but you only want one? In this case, click the image of the item you want, then click Select rather than Obtain All. You'll only receive the one you selected. After that, all you need to worry about is making sure you don't accidentally delete the mail after XD

Hope that helps!

Sub-Category: hero gear

Hello ,if you wanth to be aible to use full potential from you'r troop's you nedd excelent hero. Having epic hero it self it is not inaf, that what makes the difference it's the gear which you equip on you'r hero. There is 8 diferent pieces of gear you can equip on you'r hero

-helmet
-weapon
-medal
-suit
-boots
-necklace
-cloak
-ring
Equiping the gear on your hero is simple, firsth click on the hero buton

on you'r screan and you vill enter in you'r hero menu and in same time you vill open the bag on you'r firsth hero page.

Select the hero you wanth to equip by clicking on it and then you can double click on gear you wanth to use or drag the same into coresponiding slot. There is one limitation that you must take care of ,gear as everithing else in game comes in lvl's ,lowest is gear with no lvl, then lvl 10, lvl 20. lvl 30 and so on. BIgest lvl so far that can be found is lvl 90.To be aible to equip gear on the hero you'r hero must reach level requierd from gear. For example hero lvl 54 can be equipd with gear level 50 and lower.

Each piece of gear adds surten amount of points to coresponiding hero ability: attack ,defence and goverment, the amount of point's that gear adds and abilty to which vill be added depend's from tipe and lvl of gear, biger lvl more point's. For example helmet, medal, boots, cloak and ring ad point's in all 3 ability attack, defence and goverment.

On other side weapon incerase only attack point's ,suit defence and necklace only governor point's.

This is important to know becose you have abilty to fortifay gear but that vill be explained later in text

Next is to explaine deiference in colors of gear.there is 5 colors of gear, white, grenn, blue, purple and orange gear. White gear is the weakest and it gives only basic point's to hero ability,my best advice is to disacarde it. green gear is litlle beter beside basic point's it also adds points to hero atributes ( strength , vitality and intelect) , blue gear gives also points to hero atributes but you can also reforge blue gear ( expl. later in text) and purple gear so far the best gear that can be found in game also give huge amount of point's to hero atribute's.

i have not saw peace of orange gear so far but i was told that it was not realesed in game, when vill it be i dont know

In game you can aquire surten piece's of gear that belong to hero set's (mathew set, ida set, meliame set, warlord set, ) They represent colection of 8 pieces and also come in diferent lvl's ,mathew set is lvl30, ida lvl 40 ,meliame lvl 70 , warlord lvl 80, this gear pieces have stat's that are beter the ordinary gear that can be found and when you suced to colect 3 or more piece's they give to you'r hero's surten bonuses

They come in form of ofensive ,defensive and goverment set, and coresponding to taht they give the bigest add to the ability or atribute. None of them can be reforged but they can be fortify'd.

After going trough tipe of gear we come to the most important part of handling the gear.Stats and by that i mean the number's that gear give's to yuo'r hero ability and atribute can be altered trough fortification and reforge.
http://tinypic.com/r/352iyvq/5
Fortificaion is used to upgrade your gear basic points. All tipe of gear can be fortfiyd but using gem's to fortify white and green gear is same as trowingh them away, worth of fortify is only blue and purple gear. To fortify piece of gear you must obtian gem's for fotificaion. For every lvl of gear they are diferent gem's,for lvl 0 and 10 led ore, for lvl 20 and 30 rubi's, for lvl 40 and 50 zircons, for lvl 60 an 70 aqua marin's and for lvl 80 and 90 lazurit's. Led ore, rubi's, zircon's and aqua marin's can be found in gem mine vildernes. With lvl of you'r city the lvl of vildernes vill grow and you vill be aible to find gem's for fortification of biger lvl gear. Also gem's can be bougth in mall for gold or gem's(hero section). Fortifyd pieces of gear are marked with star's they gain after successful fortification. Each star represents lvl of fortification and max is 15 star's.Success of fortification is preset and it begin's with 80% for 1 star and drop's for every next star. With number off star's success rate drop's and you may fail to fortifay item.If that hapens your item vill not disapier but you can lose one or two star's becose fortification failed. For example if you try to fortify gear that is olready 5 star to 6 and fail you'r gear can drop to 3 star as result of unsuccessful fortification
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT SET GEAR CAN HAVE LOWER SUCCESS RATE ON FIRSTH STAR. More star's you'r gear have the beter it is.Some tip's for fortification:
- dont waiste low lvl gem's( ruby's and zircon's) to fortify regular equipment, save them for hero set's.
- as olready told in begining of the text weapon's ,suit's and necklace give point's to only one abilty ( weapon to attack, suit to defence and necklace to goverment) so there is no use to fortify suit for offensive hero cose it vill give only point's to hes defence abilty and vice versa weapon you use on you'r def hero vill give hem only attack point's so if you dont have unlimited number of fortifying gem's or money to spend dont waiste them, fortifay of necklace can be justified if you for example use a def hero as governor but in anu other way it is usualy waiste off gem's.
- dont run for big star number it is beter to have hero with 5 7 star gear pieces then one 15 star piece, unless you have unlimited source of gem's or acount in swiss bank

Reforging gear change atribute point's that gear give to yuo'r hero (strenght, vitality and intelect).YOU CAN REFORGE ONLY BLUE GEAR. To reforge gear you also must obtain reforging gem's.You can obtain them only braking down gear (expl. later in text).same as fortification gem's you have reforging gem's for every lvl , for lvl 0 and 10 hematite, for lvl 20 and 30 turquoise, for lvl 40 and 50 sugilite, for lvl 60 and 70 rose quartz, for lvl80 and 90 white cristal.Difrence betwen fortification and reforging is that with reforgin you dont get beter number's ,actualy it is totaly random, every time you reforg the gear you get difrent set of number's for atributes, but still with some luck you can get gear peace that has atribute almost equal to warlord gear. There is no any special tips for reforging, it is something that can help you to upgrade your equipment ,especialy if you have fortifyd gear with low atribute point's

Hero gear can be found in vildernes, obtained trough hero quest's or exchanging materials, ewentualy you vill obtian more pieces then you ned.White pieces you can discard cose they are useless, but grenn and blue pieces you dont nedd you can brake. If you brake the gear you vill get exchange materials and reforging gem's coresponding to lvl of gear you brake
Exchange materials can be used to exchange for chest with blue gear, plate's you get from braking you can exchange at npc wiliam for weel of fortune and medal's you can donate to you'r alliance and improve you'r salary income that way

Fortifying, reforging and braking hero gear can be done at npc character legendary blacksmith Robert located on sanctum city market. easest way to find hem is to click on npc list in sanctum city screan and click on hes name that vill lead you to hem

Category: wilderness
Sub-Category: resource wilderness

Trying to kepp your city to grow fast and i same time trying to create huge army is impossible without using resource tipe wilderness. In game you have 4 tipe of resource wilderness:
- farmland
- luber mill
- stone pit
- mine

Each wildernes give 2 tipe of resource ,one basic coresponding to tipe of willderness in biger amount and one second similar(smaller amount). Farmland gives grain as basic and lumber as additional, lumber mill give lumber as basic and grain as additional ( stone pit: stone basic, iron additional; Mine: iron basic, stone additional). Amount of resource that wild. give depends from wild lvl , biger lvl more resource( when you click on wild you can see exact number's in top right corner of wild. window) . But there is limitation in hove much wild can increase reso income in your city. Resource wilderness can inrease income only for 100% of your basic city income( if your city basic grain income is 14 k wild vil increase income only for 14 k even if it say that it can increase income for 20 k)

Wilderness spawn around your city is random,so one day you can get 2 lumber mill and one farm and next day 3 stone pit. They last from 2 hour's for the one with low lvl up to 48 hour's for the big one's. Number of wild you can ocupie depends from number of your city. At the beginning you can ocupie 4 wild and for every next city you get 3 more wild.

Wilderness come in 2 form's offensive and defensive ,that means that in offensive wild your troop vill be attacker and in defensive wild you vill take role of defender. This is important becose if you wanth to use income from wild you must ocupie it with your army. To ocupie wilderness you must have army inside wildernes range ( when you mouse ower wild you vill see green circle which represent wild range, army that are inside range vill also have green circle around army icon ) and best is to use army that is coresponding to form of wild. Firsth click on wildernes to open resourece wildernes window then select military option (down rigth corner) in next window you vill get list of your army that are in range select one and click confirm,on next window click ok to send army to ocupie wild. Battle inside wild last from 1 to 5 min depending from lvl of vild and number of troop you must defeat.

After you ocupie it your name vill show up above wild and it vill increase reso income in your main city(it dose not hove to be main if you change the name of some of your city's that vil be the one where vill sistem increase reso income). To change city which vill recive reso inrease click on wild and click SELECT CITY buton. You vil get window with list of all your city's and all you nedd to do is to click to square next to city you wanth and ok to confirm change.

Except for increaseing reso. wild can be used for fue more thng's . One is exploration, after you ocupie wild click on it and in window that open's you vill see the list with your army on it. In same line you vill see 2 buton's „retreat“ and „explore“.
Retreat vil give you option to send your army back to starting position and explore vil „send“ your army(your army dose not go nowhere, it stay in wild so you can always recal it if you nedd it) to explore wild. For successfull exploration your army must spend at least 2 hour's exploring( more time beter). As reward you vill get hero expierence ,coins and blue gear chest and\or hero skill book . Value of rewards is random but with some luck you can find excelent item's (you can always send an army in wild that you olready have to garison) my advice is to use your best hero with as much troop you can becose ti can help to get beter reward's

Next thing for which wild can ve used is to lvl up your heros.you have option to abandon wild which give you chance to attack the same wild once more. If you have god divination card that give increase to expirience that hero obtain from battle, you can attack the vild several time's and your hero vill get expirience every time you ocupie wild ( les expirience every next time you attack). That way you can lvl up your hero wery fast

And at the end you can always use reso vild to hide your army. For that you dont have to own wild but be carefull cose the owner of wild vill be notificated that are you garisonnig amy inside. All you must do is to move army inside wild range ,click on vild and in military option window chose garison and confirm. That vill garison your army inside wild. To give your army advantage against any posible attacker you should chose form of wild that is oposite to tipe of army you garison (garison off troop in def vild and def troop in off wild) reason is that wild are preset so any attacker vil take the roll that depends from form of wild so for exmpl if you garison off troop in def wild any attacker vill be forced to defend and if he is using off troop he vill lose cose off troop are weak when defending
