Yes, I can read Spanish.. and sometimes write basic sentences.
I am aware of the reporting system that exists both for AVA and SF. It allows users to report others, and send us screen shots. I know that they are not intending on changing anything in the transition... so this should stay the same.
However, I do know we have talked about changing how these are processed. There are a lot of screenshots, and only a very small amount show anything. This means that the GM goes through them all, but doesn't find much. It also means that there is room for error, because they are just scanning so many of them. The request was made to make these visible to the public, so that the players can go through them as well... and help us find those that are cheating.
I cant say if/when something like this will happen, but it is something we asked for.
Like you said, the screenshot system has a lot of room for error but, its not simply that. The current screenshot system is simply impractical and it is unnecessary for a GM to have to go through the screenshot when they can be released to the public on a large scale and have the public go through them.
Also like you said the screenshots sometimes do not tell anything, well there is many things that can be added to make the banning system better. For example, chat logs and input logs can both help sift through hackers.
Chat logs can display the reaction of the players ingame and what they are experiencing, and input logs can help catch macros.
It is necessary for the reporting systems to be reformed, because without it the population of hackers will indefinitely run ramped.
