About higher classes and MA

First question:
Samurai is harder to unlock/achieve then MA, so, its mean Samurai is stronger and more useful then MA? And everyone else from Meele dps tree is stronger then thief?

Something like:
Samurai > BD > MA > thief
?


Second question:

Like MA, should i use 2 cestus or 1 cestus and another weapon (dagger/sword) or cestus and shield (if possible...)?

Third question:
MA/samurai/bd/thief are useless in dungeons and bosses?

1. All classes are equal, just different in what they do. The classes that are harder to unlock are ussualy harder to play, but just as strong than the classes used to unlock them.

Its more like: Samurai = Blade Dancer = Martial Artist = Thief

2. Most MA use 2 Cestus, but only 1 is required to get the class weapon bonus, so the off-hand weapon is entirely your choice.

3. No.

BD and sammy rhapes dgn mobs. thief ma rhapes bosses to put it simply

there is no real reason for the order classes are unlocked for all intents and purposes they could have made samurai available at the character creation but they didn't for the sole purpose of making the game more interesting and giving you something to work for

1 more question: what is the better heroic trait if i'm going to focus in meele dps, more likely in MA and samurai?

Commando? Maverick? HP/MP + 12% (orange thing) ? P-Crit. Rate (yellow thing)?

Plus, Attack speed influences the skill speed, or just works for normal attack?

for pure dps, dont use leadership hp/mp +12%. if you gonna build a serious atk speed build then maverick would help. otherwise jus go adventurer for crit rate/dmg. u can go commando for more alil more raw power, but for something really simple and effective, jus stack all the crit rate/dmg u can and lck.

use cetsus/club for optimal dmg.
go commando if your planning to get the best gear and legendary achievements.

MA with guardian trait makes a sweet tank. OFC pure dps gotta wait a bit longger before attacking but you gonn have all that extra dps once timed skills are used. My wife(cleric and I ,MA, can duo any 3 man our lvl or below, and 5 men up to arid. So no, melee dps are NOT useless in caves. Also, remember that melee DoT causes 0 instant dmg, so does not generate aggro, which makes ma and theif a valuable asset in dgns.

what DoT does 0 dmg? any damage (even heals) generate some sort of malice.
