why in the world would a lucky charm be used

on a sucessfull link anyway , makes sence they only be used on failed attemptemts and everyone knows theres enough of those.

that is why only a very small portion of players have bothered to work on end game sets. Its out of reach for the average player now & thats showing in the lack of players venturing to maps. pvp is an old memory on Shaiya.  
The root of the problem are not the item requirements for linking, the problem is the very availability of such obscene upgrades that make base stats dwarf in comparison. Lapis shouldn't even matter this much, an RPG should be much more about the class and build you choose and how you develop it.

You wanna slash the prices on everything real fast? Reduce the amount of stats added to gear by all types of lapis (especially the 7s) and get rid of absurdities like MaxOJs => fewer people will even need these gimmicks to be competitive on PvP maps => fewer will buy them => prices will drop across the board, not to mention pure skill will matter once more (since it will take good moves to overpower your enemy, with gear no longer making quite so much of a difference).

No leo, i believe what he OP is asking is to stop the requirement of both OP and LC to lvl 7 lapis... So that only an OP is required without fear of said item breaking.

lol, if you want to do equalities, you have to include the end stat effect too.

although i have asked since the current episode got released that lvl7's should have a farmable option for lvl7 lapis. There was no one ... i hoped to see that with gears at the ROTCO released but apparently it's also not there. I really don't understand the token experiment from the devs Neutral

IF it was farmable, then the cost is equal. Just LC for 20 extra stats. simple Smile

They can easily go back to how it was in prior episodes instead of ripping people off.

On successful link why lose a LC? Put it back the way it was.

Lapis fails = lose LC,
Lapis links = dont lose LC.

Simple.

I agree with u in this, cause if lvl7 were farmeable a craft7 wouldnt cost 3 OP so LC wouldnt be a problem .There would be a commercial flow between farmers and AP buyers Very Happy. But lvl7 arent farmeable and sadly they wont (less mini-tiers and stuff).

...Since when are lvl 7 lapis not farmable? You do know that Regnum Lapis boxes, which ARE farmable, are what drop lvl 7s? Just cuz you don't kill a boss, doesn't mean its not farmable...after all, some lvl 6s drop from boxes as well.

So, yes, lvl 7 lapis ARE farmable...and craft 7s are still 3 ops even tho they are farmable. Otherwise I don't know what I've been doing farming tokens to get my 7s...

However, +100000 to a successful lvl 7 link NOT using the lucky charm...it is stated in the lapis description that it will use a lucky charm IF the lapis breaks..not if the lapis is linked.

I think what people are missing here is the game is BORING. We play it to pvp, yet it takes an age to prepare to play. I have a reasonable 1-15 pvp set, although for 4 months+ I have been trying to acquire a top & leggings (worship) to complete my set. I cant farm it, cant afford to buy it, & cant be bothered to go into the zone without it. So I will sit out of the zone for possibly the next 12 months, trying to acquire the pieces I need (not paying $100 / piece either - GET REAL). The in 12 months time IF i manage to acquire the pieces I need, then I will need another few months to farm to afford to enchant all my pieces to [17] b4 I will think about entering the zone. I love pvp, but I dont love having no chance at all. When people have no chance, they boycott it. That is why the zone is dead & will remain dead.
AGE is too greedy & have cut off their nose to spite their face. I used to buy Nostrums with AP when I played 1-15 because it offered you an edge & you could gain from your cost. Now if you nos, your targetted, killed & out of pocket a few $$$ for 20seconds of PANIC, "Sheesh, there goes my nostrums, I wont do that again".
Once I ploughed thru Nostrums & handed them out to my party when we needed it. Now a few people nos (on top of [17] dread & heroic gears) & people log off & mow the lawn, because thats more fun.
Bring some common sence back to the table. I havent bought AP in a long time, & most people with common sence wont do it either. You gotta give us some bang for our buck, not just bang us for it.

They wont do it, Its loss of their income and you know AGE prioritise money making schemes than their players.

I do support this topic but I'm 100% sure nothing will be done about it, Unless a GM wants to prove me wrong Very Happy
