Exp Bonus In 30+ Zones: Testing Next Week

Shaiya,

One of the concerns I noticed during my playthrough of Shaiya is that at 30+, the grind becomes very rough. There are certain level bottlenecks that take a lot of fun out of the game. Some grind is good (this is a Korean MMORPG, after all), but I think that we can all agree that the game will be more enjoyable if the grind is reduced a bit.

To address this, we plan on having an EXP bonus event in certain 30+ zones. Before we do this, however, we need to test the zone-wide EXP command and make sure it is working correctly.

This is where you come in - next Thursday January 12th and Friday January 13th, we will be having a 30% EXP bonus in the following zones:

- Skulleron (light zone)
- Astenes (fury zone)
- Valdemar Regnum (PVP zone)
- Palaion Regnum (PVP zone)

Please play in these zones during this time, and let us know if there are any issues. If it works properly, we will have an EXP event (much longer than two days) in nearly all of the 30+ zones.

Just a Q:
Will this remain (its going to be permanent, right?)with an extra +30% EXP Event running it will also effect in those zones right? 'Making it +60%'

I hope so and I actually asume so caus otherwise its useless x).
I just hope u keep enough EXP events running to actually make grinding going faster.
Would give so much more joy to new players and even myself, caus if grinding goes faster I might just make more toons and level them up aswell Smile

Preety much what I have been asking all along. If you want it more fun, people have to be up there, even if only feeding ubers, still you can find fun in battling the ones close to you possibility. Too much grind kills the game. Imagine when the cap is expanded to 80, you will spend 2 weeks getting to 72... ridiculous. Needs to be more fast paced for sure. Thanks aeria and Choi for listening to the players requests.

QFT - the 46-60 grind is still the worst bit in the game. Bonuses of this kind will be quite beneficial.
