What bothers me is the "generic" automated responses they send. It feels so impersonal, like they don't have time for their customers. If you have an issue and are specific about an issue, they respond with "Im sorry we can not process your request" or "we can not assist you at this time. At least give me a reason why you can help me. Tell me you don't feel like wasting your time...or...we can't do it because it's our policy. It's like trying to get in touch with a live person at a credit card company (which is a pain in the butt btw). Make me feel like I'm a customer and not a thorn in your side.

Or the fun response to a request to get your account rolled back after supporting the game for years. "Thanks for the feedback/suggestion. To discuss this and other topics go to the forums"
Yeah, great customer relations especially when there was a rash of hacked accounts. Be nice to actually HELP the people that got screwed thanks to lax security on AGE's end of things. Best part of me getting hacked, this was the ONLY thing that was compromised. None of my e-mail accounts, not my paypal, not my online banking, none of the other games I play. Just this game. I think it was a targeted thing, and I didn't have an easy password. So thanks AGE, I'll give you a zero for customer relations. Especially since to make my characters usable again, I'd have to farm gold on a noob, til I had 5-6b gold to get about 1/4 of the gear I lost back. Not gonna happen.

I couldn't care less if I see GM's in-game or not. Not important at all. However, I do feel that the GM's should be required to play this game(anonymously or not) without any GM God mode junk on their toons. If they don't experience the game as the players experience the game, I don't see how they can properly relate to players' concerns, suggestions, etc.

But, when it comes down to it, these GM's and PM's have bosses that are telling them how things will be handled. The GM's and PM's are just following these orders. And it's these bosses that need to change within Aeria and change the customers' perceptions of Aeria at the same time . It's clearly apparent that the GM's and PM's really don't have much power to change things unless it's approved by these higher ups.

Until these bosses show some dedication towards removing the customer perception of greed from their company and get this game back to a true F2P game, nothing will change at all. It will just continue to slowly lose customers, as is currently the case. We saw signs of this attitude changing a few months ago, but unfortunately, that didn't last long.

Now, before some of you respond with the normal Aeria butt-kissing responses, getting the game back to a true F2P game does NOT mean that it should stop generating revenue through AP sales. However, there's a HUGE difference in generating revenue and just simply gouging people's money with completely overpriced items/tiers/AP Sinks/etc.

There is always room for improvement, although I do think this community is quite a bit more vocal than others. Players always want a little personal attention from GM's. Perfectly understandable. Please remember tho, often the questions asked of them in sb, at least, they cannot answer due to privacy laws, like questions about your rt's or accounts. Those things must be discussed in private. Also, things are discussed through rt so there is a record of the discussion.
Just food for thought.

Other than that, keep bugging them! I don't know that they can find time to just come hang out in game, which is what it seems some of you are looking for, but they can surely say hi when they are there : )

well personally if i just want to ask them something i dont send a ticket since when they answer and if i reply always my ticket gets marked as "spam" it bugs me i dont want to send another ticket since i dont want to really spam them but ya... and in-game some GM's u whisper wont even answer =/ some do but some dont even tho u know they aint afk (talking in all chat or moving around lol)

how true baraba...my 120 rk got hacked and banned 6 months+ ago..i tried to get it back and guess what...my email adress is marked as spam and its still marked as spam today lol...so things stay like this:

lvl up
spend cash
get banned
ask for account back
get shty response or no response

Aeria FTW!!!
