Rather than reloading it, did you select the correct format for the embed code?

  • If you use Pidgin or Trillian, or other "All-N-One" -- Use Yahoo PingBox
  • For Yahoo PingBox , select the "Myspace Layout" Code

Some may have trouble with the Myspace Code version, but the Live Space seems to work too. So use either Myspace Code or Live Space (It will be the one that starts with <embed>).

I love this idea and I will share here what I just discovered: we can use a widget to comunicate via aeria meebo chat.
How to do that? It is necessary to create a meebo account as I described in this post: http://www.aeriagames.com/forums/en/viewtopic.php?p=9998485#9998485

If not interessed, the last point about the meebo minibar can be skipped (also if I prefer it rather than the bar embedded in aeria pages); instead, once the account is succesfully created, it is possible to get the widget code pressing preferences -> meebo me widgets in https://www.meebo.com/messenger page

Someone from my team pointed this out. I threw one up on my profile and am seeing about getting other DOMO GSes to get in on it too.

EDIT: woo

It seems all the widgets I tried don't work anymore, due to dismiss by publisher or due to new policy in aeria profiles embedded objects.

Anyway I found a possible solution: I put a link in my profile to Mibbit widget (to have a chat in a IRC channel I created), when someone send a message I'm notified via Trillian (a multi client messenger).

Check it out in my profile http://www.aeriagames.com/user/pask81 , if someone likes the idea I can share more details how to setup the thing.

Awesome thing there pask, love it!

But! - Public Disclaimer is necessary. To both parties.

IRC Allows either individual to see the others host address
So, utilize that are your own precaution.

Sadly yes, pingbox will have to find an alternative, if you use Yahoo.

Working on something very very special, "Project Iris", but unfortunately a chest cold has gotten me down for the winter, and I am not able to spend much time at the desk outside of work. But we'll get there! Promise! \n/

I'm a bit nub about IRC, but what do you mean "see others host address?" people choose an hostname "on the fly" when they log there and it is not permanent...

I read about this "Project Iris" in your previous post and I'm really curious about it Very Happy
