[Guide] Certificate Combinations

Class Certficates
With the wide variety of classes that lets players enjoy different roles and party compositions, as long as the class reaches a certain level class certificates become obtainable.

When equipping specific certificates, the character is able to receive special abilities. Even more spectacular is how even while changing jobs, the various certificates are still able to be equipped. The combination of certificates is a vast knowledge with the strongest combinations left for you to discover!

When certificates are combined, there may result in a special effect from the combination.
Don't underestimate the combination effects for sometimes in difficult situations it is the license combinations that are the keys to victory!


Increasing the character level increases the number of certificates able to be equipped.

As the class level increases, the certificates are unlocked.
Certificates are obtained at class levels 10, 20, and 30.
License effects are boosted at class levels 40, 50, and 60.


Basic Combinations
Melee Defense
(any 2 yellow) - Strength Increase: STR +2%
(any 3 yellow) - Heart of War: Deep Impact and Combat Cyclone damage increase by 10%
(any 4 yellow) - Shield Master: Shield DEF +50%, Max HP +5%

Melee DPS
(any 2 orange) - Agility Increase: AGI +2%
(any 3 orange) - Destruction Fang: Slam and Fury Hit damage increase by +10%
(any 4 orange) - 1H Weapon Master: Increase weapon atk and magic atk by +5% when equipped with a 1h weapon

Range DPS
(any 2 green) - Luck Increase: LCK +2%
(any 3 green) - Shooting Star Arrow: Precise Shot damage and Wild Will duration +10%
(any 4 green) - 2H Weapon Master: Increase weapon atk and magic atk by +5% when equipped with a 2h weapon

Healing/Support
(any 2 blue) - Wisdom Increase: WIS +2%
(any 3 blue) - Revival Leaf: Cure healing effect and Earth Shock damage increase by +10%
(any 4 blue) - Healing Master: Healing and received healing effects +15%

Magic DPS
(any 2 purple) - Intelligence Increase: INT +2%
(any 3 purple) - Magic Moon: Fire Bomb and Lightning Web damage increase by 10%
(any 4 purple) - Demon Spell Master: Max MP +15%

    *Notes:

      • The Sage class was not yet released in the Aeria version at the time of this post, thus their certificate names are not official. Everything else should match.
      • Aeria Games retains the rights to names, locations, items, ect and can edit content to be better suited for the player base
      • Translations are done by me. Upon release Aeria may choose to localize things into something else


New certificate combinations, enhancing your skills!
The all new certificate combinations gives players even more choices to diversify themselves. Compared to the past where the certificates gave stat boosts, the new combinations are targeted to skills specifically. Every class has 2 new certificate combinations and the combinations require 2 specific certificates of the same type for the effect to activate. How will you combine the certificates to boost your favorite skills?

Warrior
(Taunt + Rapier Attack) Warrior’s Fury – Bloody Attack damage increase by +12%
(Iron Armor + Holy Heart) Warrior’s Sturdiness – Titan’s Wall duration +8 seconds

Knight
(Rapier Attack + Muscle Flexibility) Knight’s Honor – Judgment Storm damage increase by +8%
(Elegance + Heavy Shield Defense) Knight’s Pride – Elegant duration +12 seconds.

Templar
(Heavy Shield Defense + Taunt) Templar’s Belief – Shield Bash damage increase by +12%
(Critical Attack + Rapier Attack) Templar’s Judgement - Judgment Impact damage increase by +8%

Dragoon
(Scale Protection + Dragon Soul Congregation) Dragoon’s Perseverance – Decrease cooldown of “Fire Dragon Mode”, “Dark Dragon Mode”, and “Shield Dragon Mode” by 5%
(Taunt + Dragon Force) Dragoon’s Intimidation – Increase duration of “Reversing Scales” malice increase effect by 3 seconds.


Thief
(Super-Speed Hand + Dancing Master) Thief’s Nimbleness – Deadly Containment damage increase by +20%
(Nimbleness + Stamina) Thief’s Spirit – Gallop duration +5 seconds

Martial Artist
(Defense Energy + Thunder Reflection) Martial Artist’s Toughness – Defender’s Strength duration +8 seconds
(Powerful Muscle + Smile) Martial Artist’s Dignity – Charge duration +8 seconds

Blade Dancer
(Dancing Master + Nimbleness) Blade Dancer’s Beauty – Dance of War duration +8 seconds
(Smile + Calm) Blade Dancer’s Ego – Dancing Blade critical chance +6%

Samurai
(Loyal Faith + Defense Energy) Samurai’s Loyalty – Shrine Belief duration +5 seconds

When you equip 4 certificates, do you get also the bonus from all "tier" before or just that one said for 4.

When equipping 4 certs you do not get the bonuses above. You can only equip the 2 certs in question to receive the bonus (you can equip others arund the same gem, even a different coloured pair, but you will not receive the 2nd combination bonus)

However I have noticed some discrepancies in the certificate combinations.

Neither of the Knight certificate combinations work for me. Both simply result in +2% Strength. Also there is an unlisted combination of Muscle Flexibility + Defend Master that I cannot discern (It's not either of the Knight combinations and I do not have Templar to check theirs). It does not appear to increase Maelstrom or Magic Blockade in any way, nor does it increase the duration/decrease the cooldown of Elegant, Focus or Fearless.

Also minor update for Shaman. Focused Thought + Tuner actually increases Healing Drops HoT proc by 4s, not Earth Energy.

The boost to Elegant appears to be Elegance + Heavy Shield Defense. Iron Armor is incorrect.

This combination appears to be the +8% Judgment Storm damage. It doesn't affect the DoT, just the initial hit. I tested this myself, and my usual hits (I still have mostly healer stuff on) were going from 950-1000 to more like 1100-1300.

It's kinda weird though. Defend Master increases Parry for 2H uses, while Judgment Storm can only be used with a 1H weapon. So why the two are connected...I have no idea.

Also, was this mentioned in the patch notes? I didn't even realize until 15 minutes ago that this was in our version. I'd seen this post before we got the content, but had no idea it was implemented already, especially since the gems are blank when you hover over them with a correct combination. If I had known this, I would have reorganized my Cleric's certs earlier, since it was just a matter of changing the order I had them in. 5% more Healing Radiance is MUCH better than 2% Wis!

Good catch with the Judgment storm damage. I mistakenly assumed it meant the DoT damage and didn't even bother to check the initial hit.

It's nice to see the Elegant bonus exists. Should be possible to use Elegant indefinitely now. 30s duration increased to 60+s with Kisin's Trophy, Cert bonus and 8+ in Talent. I seem to recall hearing the Elegant Glyph reduces cooldown so the Talent may not even be necessary.

I didn't see it in patch notes. I actually just saw this thread and figured I'd give them a shot to see if they were implemented or not. Hopefully a near future patch will show the bonus given in-game.
