Trion Worlds Accounts Compromised

If you have an account with Trio Worlds, then please read

http://www.trionworlds.com/en/games/account-notification

It appears that a number of Trion Accounts have been compromised. This means that hackers have gotten into their database, and have been able to gain access to accounts holders personal information, including their account name and password. Please make sure that you are not using the same username/password combination with different sites. If in doubt, change your password to something unique for each.

Thank you, and happy holidays!

I have confirmed this (and received the email myself). Please ALWAYS use a unique password for every site.

Who knows, I'm surprised that they are still targeting game sites. From the mail it looks like they may have got CC data as well so keep and eye on your accounts.

Thanks for the Heads up as always!.
Also a reminder, usually when you purchase something via a website, sometimes during the checkout, some ask to safe your credit card/bank account information so that next time you purchase something would be easier...never safe your credit card info..People should never safe their credit card/bank information on any site.

Please do use unique passwords, I myself have been hacked because of this. Lesson learned...
