We all know and love Capture the Flag, one of the best events for 12Sky2... but God levels, are you ready for a new and exciting event?! It's called Seizing Siege Grounds!!
Join forces with your faction and fight to take over Siege Grounds. There will be 2/3 parts to the event each time it is run. Please be sure to look over the rules since it will help to run the event more smoothly and ensure that the event is fair and fun!

What: You and your faction will work together to capture and seize Siege Grounds. Whichever faction holds the fort down for 10 minutes will receive ponies for their warriors.

How:
Phase 1 (Claiming the castle): - You and your faction will wait in your spawn in Siege Grounds until the GM announces the start of the event. Once the event has been started, you will run towards the platform that connects all the pathways from each faction's spawn. On this platform, blood will shed as factions fight to take down the catapults that are found at the center. Since all of these catapults will be at the center, factions will have to defend their catapults by taking down as many enemies as possible to lessen the damage taken, and simultaneously try to weaken the catapults of the other faction. The bridge to the castle will contain borders that'll stop players from entering until the castle has been taken (when one faction's catapults are remaining) NOTE: YOU MAY NOT JUMP OVER ANOTHER FACTION'S BORDER. You may only jump over when your faction is in control of the castle.

Phase 2 (Occupying the castle): - Once a faction has captured the castle, the GM will announce "[Faction name here] has seized the castle! ALL PLAYERS FREEZE!!" At this point, all players that are not the mentioned faction must FREEZE (No attacking, no moving). From this time until the next GM notice, the GM will raise the controlling faction's borders and allow time for the faction to proceed into the castle. A Divine Stone will be spawned on the descended ledge behind the gate. This will give advantage to ranged weapons, while still giving the possibility of melee tankers to leap in and attack the stone.

Phase 3 (Fighting for the castle): - After the GM gives the green light to begin attacking again, the timer for the 10 minutes once the first element has been . Players of the opposing faction CANNOT use the jump skill. ONLY the faction that's in control of the castle may jump over to enter and occupy the castle for defense.

Rules:
1. Players must stay in spawn and wait for the GM's go before leaving
2. ONLY the controlling faction may use the jump skill to move over the elements set up as borders.
3. When the GM says FREEZE. All players except for the mentioned faction cannot MOVE or ATTACK.
4. The faction who has the last hit on the stone will gain new control of the castle
5. Since this event is experimental, rules may be updated to accommodate for balance issues.
