Hello, for my mage i have no clue whether to go witch or wizard. I would like to go witch but my GM says i would litteraly punch myself in the face if i did. can someone tell me the pros and cons of each please and please possibly post a video so i can see there skills. Also are wands hard to find??

id say witch cuz i am a witch XD but that really depend on what you want. with being a witch you got longer haste, sexy looking wands and have fun debuff skills. stone, blind and sleep
being a witch will give you challenge on mobs, our best skills wont work on boss mobs we cant stone or bleed them. but all other mobs are fine and you got a sleep skill if incase u get mobbed put em all to sleep XD

Atm LC got many changes- some for better,others- for worse.

To play as a witch was always enjoyable,cuz the plents of debuffs . Atm some of debuffs doesn't work on bosses,and without any good attack skill,the witch can use only the reg hits ( they got nice rate of crit hits ) Along with tht ,being a mage,u will get a low defence,and slow speed -movement and attack.U will get a stone/sleep skills- these work on normal mobs,so can save ur life. I cant say anything more about withches,cuz im a wizard,and never got one;P If im wrong for something,let the pro corect me

About wizard - to playing as wizard its really fun in tomb. Only the NS can beat u there
Its easy and faster to grinding there and i would say also a bit cheaper. But after tomb -lvling getting really hard. U will need defence and hp boosts, cuz mobs hitting really hard. If u can aford u a nice +ed wep,then ur low defence wont be a so big problem. The key for lvling in mondshine is to do ur dailies quests in pt.
The bad side of being a wizard is :
- the skills ur 122 skill wil has 3mins cooldown,and 5 mins for ur 132 one.Thats make them a lil useless,atleast 155 lvl,when u get more cast up.Nova is a nice aoe skill with decent dmg,but its not the best skill with red mobs,cuz has a attack buff for the oponent/mobs.
- no stun/stone/sleep skills, u will got only fear ,and with 30% cast only,u cant perm spam it.U wont be able to run away from mobs cuz ur slow speed- even with speedies,some mobs r faster than u ;D
- ur attack speed - will be 14(with self buff- 12).
The good point - if u can manage to hold mobs on u,without dying- u can lvling fast, because of aoes.

Which class u will gona play depends all of ur style of playing,and what u can afford. There r some p2 tht will be prety usefull for u,playing as mage. With the new afinity system,u will be able to use stone/stun/sleep scroll - so no needs to being a witch to use these skills. U can use cast pots too - so the cooldown on ur skills wont be so important. Its a lil out of date,but the new added lvls r for 160+

I would recommend leveling to 140+ as wizard then switching to witch.

Not bad suggestion at all.+1 ...Just 1 question coming up after... question is: How good you know your witch skills then?

I'm not arguing just pointing out something which can be important playing witch class. All best to all.

If you ask me I like playing witch all lvls but it's hard, very hard. Even me today powerlvling with much better class in damage and killing speed 165lvl Assassin. My credo before was playing Witch "all the way" (all lvls alone) but now I got some ingame problems where I need to reach top lvls to show some ppl "some things" and need to do it asap, cause of guild.

tz... those are just wanna be witches...
lvling to 140 as a wiz and then switching is for lazzy people who prefer to make it so easy. There is no real challenge in being a witch if you do it that way and you wont get a real feeling for what it means to be a witch from lvl 31 on.
Sure it is tough to be a true witch but it also makes you feel more proud reaching your goal and never to been a wizard before.
I love my witch, she is doing pretty good in mond (thx to stone and sleep) and so much more fun in the arena when you just wanna mess with ppl instead of just killing them lol a wizard can't mess with them as a witch can, with permanent stone and all the debuffs and bleeds it's fun to get them to 1 hp while you actually didn't have to hit once. Kinda freaks ppl out to be permanently stoned lol

For me, my witch is one of my alt toons for when I get bored of assassin so I wanted to level as cheap as I could on her. If she was my only toon then I probably would play her from 32 to 165 as witch.

i have both classes but it isnt hard to choose...

when you want pvp (only):

- which is better than wizard in pvp but you need some hit rate accs...
- like a witch you will be lvling realy slow and sometimes you will need plvl like a help
- more fun than witch wizard? i dont thing that slow lvling is funny and in pvp you have stone but nothing what get high dmg...
- huh and wizard with hit rate accs? terra spear, next hit and its end of duel

pve

- wizard!!! AoE skills and realy great dmg... low defence and hp? pfff... use SoS witch eva + hp and mp stealer when you will need and you are happy guy iam lvl 94 full+15 and akan temple (1.-2. boss) is realy funny and easy for me some minutes and bosses are down
- and terra spear you can use like AoE skill fear + terra and skill hit all feared mobs
