It's always a very easy solution to just blame it on the players, EA aren't saints and they are not running NFS World properly, on a sidenote, the World forums would not be that way if EA did a better job.

There is not enough mods on their forums. In addition to mods not being much at all online and not having enough experience.

I would gladly be a moderator so the spam, flame etc. could be put on a leash.
EA clearly needs some help there. But the problem is there is no way to get in contact of anyone who actually could decide about things.

Also they were fixing the bugs, glitches etc. well enough at one point but people just kept complaining so in the end they fixed the bugs so game could be played and gave up on rest.

And I don't blame them.

Well I admit that saying "don't blame developers, blame players" is over-exaggerated as in reality the fault is in developers too for not handling the situation well.

But it IS getting tired to see people not do pretty much anything else in forums than complaining.

Just as it's tiring to see boost cars, boost cars, boost cars and more boost cars.

Ever considered people complain because they are not happy?

Of course, but there is a limit to everything.
They are getting the cars they once wanted. Old cars get added for IGC though slowly.
Last I checked we got Ford Escort RS Cosworth which is actually really good competitor for many Boost cars. It wasn't purchasable for Boost for nothing.
Just like we got Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 Edition for IGC not too long ago which, though has kinda bad handling, is fine alternate choice for M3 GTR.

Canyons are coming and can be expected around the middle to end of next year.
Trading option has kinda been confirmed too but release time is TBA.

Complaining isn't making things come faster.

Lulz....before this gets too out of hand....

Please do NOT start out with high expectations regarding this game. Take it for what it is and what it provides and have fun.

It is NOT the same as a retail version and does NOT have anywhere near the depth of those in all areas.

It is NOT a very deep MMO game either....beyond text and voice chat....no crew/club/clan support, no p2p trading, somewhat limited visual customization, etc.

DO expect bugs, glitches, crashes, connection issues, cheaters, random problems, etc. and try to take them in stride.

Currently the game is free-2-play but more or less pay-2-win regarding better performing cars and faster access to better performance parts. That said, as a free player, you can do well if you get the right cars, learn the tracks and learn to drive very well.

Sounds familiar since many f2p games have the same problems. People cry on the forums and yet they keep playing. Adapt to it or gtfo, right?

Live with it...
Who cares if boost only content reigns over IGC?
As long as you can play the game, you are trying to enjoy yourself, and not pissing yourself off with the huge amount of boost users and hackers...

Not that this will be heeded....

To disgruntled NFSW players, PLEASE keep the excessive anger, disgust, hopelessness...whatever on the EA forums....leave the Aeria players alone! Razz

We all know the situation and many of us are willing to deal with it and live with it as it is even if it is way below our original expectations, hopes and its potential.

@LucianaIV and SapphireThunder (and others that feel the need to do this)
Please keep this bickering type of back and forth dialog in private messages instead of polluting the forums with it. No one cares. I guess the moderator could create a stickied thread for these recurring arguments and allow people to vent when they feel the need.

Sorry, no can do.

The people that just start here from Aeria deserve to know what they get themselves into, they deserve to have the illussion of a perfect game taken away and everytime I am asked what the game is like I will state exactly the crappy situation it's in.

It's a bottomless money pit, I can buy 50k boost for 100 euros and then find myself two weeks later having to do so again from the fact that not a single bit of new content can be acquired without spending money.

Dissapointing in a few ways :

Zero tuning ability for cars. I only see the option to add/remove parts, and nothing even remotely close to "tuning/tweaking" as was present in in previous titles.

Ultra limited/restriced visual customization. I mean... seriously... you can do better.

****Zero trading/selling of cars/parts etc. very upsetting****

Car Pricing .... well this works both ways I guess, T2 and T3 cars are a bit pricey, but I can live with that, it adds length to the game, but the level caps make zero sense to me.... (lv 43 to buy my Lotus a body kit, wtfsauce?)

And last but not least, Race modes. I was anticipating at the very least Drift races, possibly Street X, Downhill Drift, PVP outrun races, or maybe even something like Tag, where you have to ram another players car and escape him/her.

You could have even made a hybrid capture the flag game, with 2 territories for each side, if you trap an opposing player on your side for XXX seconds (kinda like how the po-po's do in pursuit) they respawn on their side again)... but I only found sprint, circuit, pursuit and team escape (which are quite fun I admit, but they get rather repetetive when trying to build up cash/rep)

The things I love about this game are the fact it has free roam while playing communicating with everyone else online.

I havent had as much lag/bugs/glitches as I had expected to see.

The powerup abilities are very fun to use, as well as lvling up my driver and gaining new abilities, very attractive feature IMO.

All in all, its a fun game to play, lacking in allot of areas, but has a few very strong features that make it wonderful. I could see this game making it quite big if some extra work went into adding/tweaking some features to give it more depth/playability.

*Edit* I also forgot to mention I love the Treasure hunting, but would like to do more of it. Maybe toss a few hard to find rare single treasures around the map and maybe even have people try to race againts eachother to get it... I dunno.

I must say, till this new patch I was not very exited to join the game, as the rep was already known. However, once I gave it a try, I must say, those stuff are for boost for a quite good reason. However, games(especially MMO driving) develop in years. It took hovorun to develop in 4 years and is quite enjoyable game. The same is for NFSW, I am quite positive, that it will get worse before it gets better.

also, the last patch was so underestimated, that I don't even wonder why devs don't look at the forums frewuently. but things are starting to get better....they should improve part drop though. it is way too rare to keep up with boost users.
