-Money Pumping for both EA and Aeria
-Different servers (As promised)
-Hopefully balanced content for the freeloaders. Well, they kept on hoping back at EA's Official Need For Speed World forums, might as well not happen here too.

Expectation 3: Dream on freeloaders. NFSW has alot of Boost only cars than Free content (IGC) cars.

Lulz....before this gets too out of hand....

Please do NOT start out with high expectations regarding this game. Take it for what it is and what it provides and have fun.

It is NOT the same as a retail version and does NOT have anywhere near the depth of those in all areas.

It is NOT a very deep MMO game either....beyond text and voice chat....no crew/club/clan support, no p2p trading, somewhat limited visual customization, etc.

DO expect bugs, glitches, crashes, connection issues, cheaters, random problems, etc. and try to take them in stride.

Currently the game is free-2-play but more or less pay-2-win regarding better performing cars and faster access to better performance parts. That said, as a free player, you can do well if you get the right cars, learn the tracks and learn to drive very well.

Why not have high expectations? If the game isn't built up, the let-down won't be as dramatic. :/

dude scarecrow, sphere is right.

The game itself is not really worth looking forward to.

Several free players were like in rage when boost only content reigns over in-game cash content aka free content.

So yeah. You guys are getting too out of hand. Don't expect too much to a imbalanced multiplayer game.

Why are people here saying ''when it releases'', the official NFS World release was on 27th July 2010, it's been live ever since.

Also, a tip to those with high expectations, expect those expectations to come crashing down on you like a wall.

You are on the Aeria forums, true, but have no illusions, the core provider of NFS World is still the same EA that does nothing but introduce Speedboost cars, no bug fixes, no hacker banning, no new tracks, no new gamemodes, Speedboost cars.

Money.

And to those that still don't get it, Aeria isn't developing NFS World, they are simply another portal to provide more players, why they split the community into the Aeria forums AND the official NFS World forums is beyond me.

Oh, and for those like me from the NFS World forums: CenturyLuciana there, expert complainer and unhappy NFS World customer. :V

As said, NFSW isn't the best kind of MMORacing game but it is good enough.

Maybe if EA/BB can get more, better feedback, maybe there will be more evolving to better.

I like your positivity, but we both know that isn't going to happen.

Not at the rate people are just complaining all the time. No one would want to give anything nice to people who only complain for every thing possible.

EA gave up listening to most suggestions because they never were done with thought and were just plain demands.

Don't blame developers, blame the players. Wink

Indeed.

[sarcasm]Because EA is totally doing more then just releasing overpriced boost cars, because EA is totally banning hackers that people have been reporting for months, because EA is totally fixing bugs that ARE reported with useful feedback, that spewfest called the official forums isn't all that happens, feedback can be given through email as well or bug reports.[/sarcasm]

It's always a very easy solution to just blame it on the players, EA aren't saints and they are not running NFS World properly, on a sidenote, the World forums would not be that way if EA did a better job.

There is not enough mods on their forums. In addition to mods not being much at all online and not having enough experience.

I would gladly be a moderator so the spam, flame etc. could be put on a leash.
EA clearly needs some help there. But the problem is there is no way to get in contact of anyone who actually could decide about things.

Also they were fixing the bugs, glitches etc. well enough at one point but people just kept complaining so in the end they fixed the bugs so game could be played and gave up on rest.
