as i didn't have internet access till '92, i didn't really play mmos' till around '93 or so. but i remember playing (dos based) text only games, ascii graphic dungeon crawlers, etc. only they were single player versions. and if you lived through that you didn't think the graphics were bad, you said "omg, awesome graphics!".

I think players need to visit Odds and Ends a bit more. Many will miss this though and I think you should put back in the general announcement under sb.

Holy effing Jehovah it's MUD!, my dad used to play that.

i can definitely appreciate this, as i started out playing old games like these.

I really liked the first one. Reminds me of how "The legend Of Zelda" first started and how it is today. Technology's growing right before out eyes xD

I never was a BETA tester or familiar with the MUDs at the time, but I do remember fondly playing D&D in the early mid 70's. I miss those times

I do remember my old "Trash 64" and trying to program some Star Trek game into it's memory capacity.

It is hard to believe that MMO's and Gaming ahve come so far in only 25-30 years.. it will interesting to see how the next 10 years go. This was really amazing to watch
