Some countries have various good/services laws that involve honoring the new price of an item, if that item dropped price within a certain amount of time of your purchasing that item at a higher price.

I know Canada at least has a law like that.

It wouldn't be very easy for us to track this though despite the fact we have a game-item purchase history...
