So this crazy thing keeps happening to me. It's been like this forever, but now I'm curious as to why and how.

I logged out the game completely. Shut off the client and logged back in. At this point the mounts that glow are fine. Here is a picture of my PvP Wolf Mount:



Lots of fire. It's pretty. After a little while it turns to this:



No fire at all. I hovered over my mount to show you it isn't the basic no glow one. And no I didn't wait for the exact frame where there is no fire. Every frame when its glowing has full on fire and it'd be impossible to do that. I'm not sure if I am actually clicking on something to trigger it or doing it. It just goes away and comes back on its own with no real pattern as to when.

Thoughts? Anyone notice this also?

It happens sometimes. Try upping the details or effects option in the Option, cause if you happen to enter a screen where there's a lot going on, your wolf glow effect might not be showed/prioritized.

But personally...i think that's how the game is.

i wouldnt mind too much.
i've noticed that there are times when i have my pvp set/75/70 set...etc. on and it doesnt show me as glowing. but rest assured it does appear that i am glowing when im seeing through the eyes of my alts sitting in the vicinity.
it may irk you abit that it doesnt show you or your mount as it's supposed to, but it looks as it's intended to others so

It can either be effects turned off or the same glitch that happened to me: my halo, wheel of might, and dragon's breath halberd all stopped glowing and the wheel stopped spinning. Its just a loading problem, and if you relog and its stilll like that, check your options menu.... if its not that, the last thing you can do is Reinstalll the game, or use a different mount
