troop info - corrections
Crossbowmen are archers, not infantry
Crannequiers (templar defensive archers) have 30 fighting power, not 80 (otherwise why would templars build anything else!!) Very Happy

oh and another question... what's the difference between attacking and conquering for army actions?

I'm actually doing a comparison right now. Lemme get back to you in 10 minutes.

Attacking decreases enemy defenses for the next attack, even if your first attack doesn't win, the enemy still has defenses lower than what they would actually have.

You could say that it's the debuff of the game.

not sure what you see - when i log into my rhine and spin up my rangers they have 200 base power for 3 population...

Wait a sec, then what's different from conquering?
Conquering also, through combat, lowers the enemy's defenses. Is it at a greater scale? But wait.. successful conquers pretty much destroy all of the enemy defenses(except for half the traps).
Perhaps attacks are for when you know you are going to lose?

Most likely, it's still unknown on how much disarray it's in.

In fact, attacking reduces the maximum amount of troops you can have.

You can see the difference in maximum amount of troops after attacking. Probably send a minor army to attack and make the defenses weaker.

wait what? reduces the maximum amount of troops you can have? or reduces the max amount "they" can have.

Are you saying attacking lowers the hero's leadership stat?(and therefore max army carrying capacity)

This is getting confusing. I think I'll just stick to conquering. I have my suspicions that attacking successfully also lowers happiness, but conquering serves all my needs anyways...
