they played at a local place here recently where i heard them for the first time... like WTF! awesome.  

IDK they were one of the opening acts for 10 Years when I went to the show... and this is a fairly small college town (as in, the university makes the town) and it was just a local venue.

They've been around for a while and have opened for some "big" names, but think they are still relatively obscure... dropped their label last year and I think are really just doing their own thing. 3 cds that I know of and some have some really incredible and varied music. that guy has an awesome voice.
