By now, some of you have noticed that the shoutbox has changed a bit... This is not just an improvement in performance. There are also some new features.

I strongly encourage you to experiment with it.. and find out all the new cool things that it does.

In fact, each person that posts instructions/pictures (in this thread) of how to do something new and cool with the shoutbox will receive something random (I don't know.. I will see what I can scrounge up for prizes).

Clicking on the upward arrow causes the shoutbox to be opened into a new window of it's own.

This is a convenient size window to have beside your favorite windowed Aeria Game. Sorry for those who play full screen! Works great for those using a widescreen!

Now you can easily keep an eye on the shoutbox while you mindlessly grind...the best of both worlds.

i love the way you can also minimize it too, i can wattch multipule SB's at the same time, perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect for a forum troll like me ^^

yeah, I just noticed the changes. clicking the arrow makes a popup window of the shoutbox.
also clicking - button on the forum shoutbox closes(or turns off) the shoutbox, then clicking the square will open the shout box again.
when you close the popup shoutbox you need to click the square to get the forum shoutbox open again.

I totally love these changes. Keeping sb open in one window does help a lot.

yeah, your right. just tried and could not stretch or resize the forum shoutbox anymore. you can only resize the popup shoutbox now.

I only did this using Chrome.

Putting the popped out shout box into a tab.

1. Pop out the shout box.

I like the new changes.
I can minimize it by pressing that - button, and then I can have a "messenger like"/popped-out shoutbox by pressing that diagonal arrow button.
Yay, now I can have my multiple shoutbox open without having the forum open. It really comes in handy to stalk SBs when I'm in a game~ ^^
