I was naturally curious on these new hammers, so, i purchsed one to test it.. DOH! had to buy another (needed 2!) (10g worth - 8g if VIP) then thought i would just test it on a blue gem (doves blood 5g or 4 g if VIP)
The doves blood gives an item +16 attack... the hammers (COMBINED - NOT EACH) gives the item ("embedding properties") 3-10% more.

The end result was i got 4% (from 3-10% anyone suprised numbers so low ?)! then found it was on the solitary gem i embedded.. so the gem cost 4g and gave me +16, the hammers cost 8g and give a +1.

Now, i understand the idea is to use it on uber equipment with uber gems, and i knew before the purchase it would be a bad idea, what i did not realise was just how bad.

Very very bad new item - Developers and/or Publishers please think a little better of your gamers slash clients, this should be a mini boss drop at best - get better numbers from level 1 gems.

Kade your post is off topic and you should of just made your own topic in the Help section.

But I will answer anyway, you can buy them from the Rep vendor if you are in an alliance. Other than that you have to far enemies for the small chance that they will drop it. Can't recall the level range of those items though atm. Believe there is a post in the Self Help section that had a small list of where somethings dropped. Not sure if that was on the list.
