Build him like a fighter. If you are doing UM 7 str 2 dex is good, 6 str 3 dex also works or even full str lapis in all your dex and luck works (might be the cheapest way). I don't have an end game fighter but I do have end game characters and I will take a guess at 1100+ str, 500+ dex 400+ luck. Of course it depends on pvp stat points, if you link level 7 lapis with nice OJ stats on end game gears etc. Also depends on if you are going to do 70 pvp/boss farming because you might want to increase those stats more with lvl 7 lapis. For farming or on a low budget maybe aim for what I said. Also notice, I didn't mention rec because no rec.
HM is more like 5 str 2 dex or full str or 6 str 1 dex. I personally tend to favor the full strength method because craft lapis are the most expensive in game and if you can get away with linking very little str and linking dex and luck almost exclusively than you can save yourself some gold. It is something to think about and examine more closely because certain lapis only llink to certain pieces of items.
