Citizens of Shu!!! I have come bearing news from the guild Serenity, of an in-game event being held by us, fellow players. The events will have five judges to decide the out come of each game. The games will be as follows, with their prizes and rules.
Date: Saturday August 6th, 2011.
Time: Start time is 1200, or Noon, PDT.
Where: Shu Kingdom, cvlnDonut.YA1's house.
If you would like to participate, I will be standing outside my house at 10am PDT the morning of the event or on Wednesday August 3rd, 2011 starting from 5pm PDT. First come first served is going to be the policy on the even.
R1 Tournament: Grand Prize is one 1k AP card, and a fully tempered R1 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Second place is a fully tempered R1 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Third place is an R1 weapon of choice.
R2 Tournament: Grand Prize is one 1k AP card, and a fully tempered R2 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Second place is a fully tempered R2 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Third place is an R2 weapon of choice.
R3 Tournament: Grand Prize is one 1k AP card, and a fully tempered R3 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Second place is a fully tempered R3 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Third place is an R3 weapon of choice.
R4 Tournament: Grand Prize is one 1k AP card, and a fully tempered R4 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Second place is a fully tempered R4 weapon of choice with 1 element orb. Third place is an R4 weapon of choice.
Tournament Rules: Each tournament will have 8 participants. The participants will do 1v1 mock battles using a weapon of R1, R2, R3, and R4 levels.The R1 tournament will be available to Guard rank and below, NO ALTS. The R2 Tournament will be available to Colonels and below, again NO ALTS. The R3 tournament is for Field Generals and Below. And the R4 tournament is for Fiend General and above. One of the five judges will be watching each battle and will ultimately decided the outcome. Suspected cheaters(meaning one or more judges thinks you're cheating) will be disqualified from the game, but not the entire event. If you're in a guild and you get disqualified, then your entire guild will be disqualified so remember that, and don't cheat. Twinked weapons are not allowed in the R1 tournament. Meaning, no element, or maxed blue bars are allowed.
Hide-and-Seek: The five judges will spread out and hide in random places throughout, the in game map. Anywhere that is not accessible will be off limits to the judges, I.E. guild halls, theirs or a friends house, or in battles. The only rules will be that you cannot tell anyone where someone is. Again, suspected cheaters and their respective guilds will be disqualified from the game, but not the event.
Grand prize winner will receive a full set of +6 gear of their choice, 1k AP, and their choice of a tribal garb or a tribal dress.
Second place winner will receive their choice of tribal garb or tribal dress.
Third place winner will receive a 10k gold.
The Quiz! A series of 5 quizzes will be given by the judges. The judges will ask the questions, and contestants are encouraged to write them down, or type them into a word pad. At the end of each round they will have 2 minutes to go to their house and send in their answer sheet. The questions will be graded by the judges. The first four rounds are the qualifying rounds, the last round will decide who gets the prizes. You must answer at least 4/5 questions right in the first 4 rounds, and the first 3 to send in 4/5 correctly answered questions in the last round will win the prizes.
Grand Prize will be 1k AP, you choice of Tribal Garb or Tribal Dress, and 5k gold.
Second Prize will be your choice of Tribal Garb and Tribal Dress.
Third prize will be 1k gold.
The Best Dressed Contest: Participants will be asked to parade around in their best regalia, and will have 5 minutes to prepare for event prior to it starting. The five judges will decide whose outfit they like the best. And please, no craft able sets, or gear. We're trying to keep things fair for players of all ranks.
Grand Prize wins a full set of Fu Xi or Nu Wa of their choice made with +0 fabrics, 1k AP.
Second place wins a full set of +6 gear of their choice and 10k gold.
Third place winner gets a full set of +6 gear of their choice.
The Team Tournament: The same rules apply to this tournament as the other tournament, but the teams must consist of 1 R4 weapon, 1 R3 weapon, and 1 R2 weapon with characters of any rank. 8 teams will compete to come out on top.
Grand prize all three players will receive a weapon for their rank:R2, R3, R4 and 1k AP for each player.
Second Place winners will receive a weapon of their choice fully tempered and with one orb of element applied.
Third place winners will receive a weapon of their choice.
Disclaimer on Prizes: We hold the right to deny any winner their prize if we deem that they are cheating. Tribal Garb/Dress are +3 and lower. Fu Xi/Nu Wa gear will be crafted with +0 Fabrics.
Certain weapons and gear will be off limits from my person stash of equipment. So please, be respectful.
