It sounds like there's some ports being dropped. Whether they're timing out or they're just not letting you connect at all. That's your issue there.

will it get fixed somehow? i didnt experience this lag before the patch happened..

I imagine the lag will come and go. I've also heard that for a day or so after Maint there will be a slight lag at times. As for a permanent fix I'm not sure. That depends if you get better internet, or not.

I'm not really sure if there really is a fix for this.
