The 700x200 is easy to go by but the 120 kb...some signatures ive seen people have trouble adjusting that me personally as a signature maker i dont but some people do...I say maybe 140kb would be abit more reasonable.

I just want to throw it out there, for you or any other sig maker (i've done some myself): save final sig as a .jpeg file. The first one's i was making i saved as .png and they were DRASTICALLY larger file size.
a 250kb .png pic was around 40kb .jpeg file
just throwing that out there

Yes have to be honest my signature is pretty basic, an old one that I just have not bothered changing , and for a little while I myself completely forgot about the size issue and with the text I used to have included it was slightly over the 120kb size. As I couldn't be bothered to change it or make a new signature just to stay within the size allowed I removed the text.
I am thinking about finally making a new one so I will bear that in mind.
I have to say I don't go hunting for signatures that are slightly oversized. There are some obviously far too large signatures that even I would notice too big dimension wise. Sometimes appearance is deceptive though for the size. I bet if you started checking everyone on the forums you would find alot more fails on the avatar size as alot of players tend to forget about the limit of size for them.
We have a gs in LC who when she first started was somewhat zealous pointing out to players that their signatures were too big. Of course made me want to check hers and sure enough both her signature and avatar were way over the limits. She did after a short while change her signature size, so I assume someone pointed it out to her. However she left her avatar oversized for quite a long time after

People just forget about them.
