The pay out rate should average between 90%( if Aeria is greedy) and 98%( if Aeria is generous). If it below 90% pay out rate your just conning people out of their money... kind of like with the gold keys." Buy a gold key win a great prize! Here's your HS (that you can get free and commonly in wooden boxes, drops and quizes) thanks for playing got to go wash my ferrari now!"
For those that dont anything about gambling a pay out rate is how much of the revenue is paid out in prizes. thus 100%- payout rate = profit margin. If aeria is making more than 10% profit they are ripping people off and need to spend some time in Vegas. If the pay out rate is above 95% , they are being decently to pretty generous.
On 1000 AP spent on the wheel the wheel should pay back on average 900 AP or better.
Asking Aeria to make the payouts greater than 99% of the revenue on the wheel is like asking a business to give you goods for cost or below cost( and actually it probably cost them about 1-2% of the revenue stream to operate the wheel.)

So in the context of my own results:
I don't have all exact numbers, but...
I played 10 spins 5 times, for a total of 50 spins.
5 x 240 = 1200 AP spent total
I started with about 1040 AP, finished with 374 AP. So I won about 160 AP + the 374 I finished with (since I spent 160 AP more than I started with), or 534 total. Which works out to about 44.6% payout (534/1200).
