[Guide] Class Guide to Clerics

I. Introduction
The Cleric class is associated under the Healing/Support archetype of Eden Eternal. Unlike the other archetypes, the Healing/Support roles are to sustain damage from killing their party members through curative magic and can temporarily enhance the combat prowess of the party. All groups are built on the foundation of solid healing and fortified tanking. Being a Cleric, you define that you want to be a defensive role. You stand in the back, maintaining health and order for your comrades in combat and if one has fallen, you can resurrect them to bring them back into the fray!

The Cleric class becomes available at character level 5 and becomes the first tier class in the Healing/Support archetype. The Cleric's primary role is a very powerful single-target healer, debuff remover and target area healer while the secondary role can be a direct damage class. Unlike the Bard and Shaman available later in the Healing/Support bracket, the Cleric defining class ability that is unique to it is Purifying Winds, a spell that removes 1 debuff from each party member in the target area. This spell proves to be a valuable spell when it comes to going into dungeons, especially the 5 man dungeons.

So do i start magician, or warrior, pls help, THANKS Smile

Heya,
just a lil advice for those willing to lvl their Cleric with the only purpose of healing in Dungeons to get an easier time at getting a group, but aren't willing to play 'em as a main class.

Focus on your Healing spells, don't even bother lvl'ing the Damage ones... get into 3-men and kill trash mobs (wearing a shield and a mace if your Cleric lvl is lagging way behind, or an axe if it's close to the dungeon lvl). Once you get to the boss, exit, reset, rinse/repeat... Takes a bit, but saves you ALOT of money from spells you won't need in the end. Also, dungeons trash mobs class XP is MUCH better than quest ones.

It will also help you get a hook of your class Smile
I know that way won't fit to everyone, so feel free to use another way if you don't have the patience for it. It's very rewarding in the end tho.

@ Tehmo3 :
Doesn't matter really, classes don't share anything but the Certificates, and lvl'ing a class at 10/20 for a Certif you think you'd want is a matter of minutes Smile

Inbetween I think is the best. What's the use of speed heals if you heal 2k? that's like 1/5th of a tanks hp?

Normal healing gear already gives cast speed and agility, just use that and certs. It's good enough to get you through and with it you get like 4k + heals?

Actually yes himsati, Casting Speed is your main concern over Healing itself, even tho you need both.
My PoV is that a 5/6k heal on the tank remains is kinda useless Wink So yeah, focus on casting speed, but don't get either to the point of nerfing your heals. So far, I'd say casting Heal at 1.2 is more than enough, from that point and ahead, work on your healing amount.

Politique :du Grec "Poly" qui veut dire plusieurs, et "Tique" qui est un parasite suceur de sang.

Ehh the guide is well put together but did little to answer any real questions.
we all understand the clerik's role in theory but theory and actual gameplay are often very diffrent. i would have found it more usefull if you showed some build types(gear wise) and stratagys to using both DPS clerik and healing cleariks. You only went into depth on healing clerik. but anyone who mains clerik knows that a crit heal makes up for wisdom, therefore teaching us how to make a healing clerik is pointless. everyone asumes that cleriks just heal and wait for the enemy to run out of mp to attack. they don't and this underestimation has been my victory in 99% of my pvp activity. tho the ignorance of the cleriks dps power works often to my advantage-i would like to see a guide that brings this power to light.

I have a Half-Kin Cleric. Due to the Level 45. Racial Skill, would I need gear towards M-Crit/Cast-SPD to my Cleric as a pure-DPS Cleric? Or should I just gear towards M-Crit/M-DMG, that way I can spend less KP on M-DMG since it will cap out quickly with a M-Crit/M-DMG set?
