[Info] Cast Speed Formula

Source: http://forum.gamer.com.tw/Co.php?bsn=18967&sn=77502

Cast SPD Formula

*A = Casting Time
*B = Casting Speed in %
*C = Casting Speed bonus from Certificate + Characteristic in %

*Cast Speed Formula = A * { 1 - [(B + C)%] }

For example:
My Magician with a natural characteristic "Essential of Casting" which adds Cast SPD+5% which is shown below:

Lets take Fireball with a cast time of 1.5s to do this calculation.

Cast Speed Formula for Fireball:
= 1.5 * [1 - (30.39 + 5%)]
= 1.5 * [1 - 35.39%]
= 1.5 * (1- 0.3539) <-----[Let 100% = 1, 35.39% = 0.3539]
= 0.96915s

Go try it out !!! Smile

is this what you mean?

cast length
= 1.5 x (1- 0.3539)
= 1.5 x 0.6461
= 0.96915

Thanks

A forum post should be like a skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material but short enough to keep things interesting.

Ok, this is awesome. Out of curiosity do you know how much Cast Time is affected by your AGI? Is there a formula for this. I want to try and balance out my AGI and WIS for my bard.
