[Guide] Skills + Talents + Certificates

All class basics and specifics can be found HERE thanks to koager. Very Happy I will continue adding Expertise details when I can gather it.

How do I assign new skills?

Each class has its own list of skills, and there are two types of skills.

Regular Skills require Silver to upgrade, and may only be upgraded equal to your base character level. They include the most basic skills for each class set and actions your character can perform such as picking items up, sitting down, and even dancing.

Class Skills require Class Points (CP) to upgrade. These may be earned by killing monsters. They are specific to each class within the class set. For example, an active Bard could use the Regular Skills earned as a Cleric, but not the Class Skills earned as a Cleric.

To assign new skills:

1. Press K or select the special notification that pops up on your screen when skill upgrades are available.



2. Click on the tab labeled Current Class at the top of your class window.


3. On the left side, choose or .

4. Click Upgrade beside the skill you wish to upgrade! The new level of the skill will update on your skill bars, so there is no need to replace it after upgrading.




How do I add skills to my hotbars?

1. Press K to open your class window.

2. Click the tab labeled Current Class.


3. On the left side, choose or .

4. Click the skill once to select it, then click on your hotbar where you want to place your skill.


Now you can use the corresponding hotkey or right-click your skill to use it with ease!



How do I use Knowledge Points/Class Talent Tree?

Class Talent allows you to customize your class a bit more. They are Passive Abilities, which means, once applied, they will automatically go into effect permanently. These abilities will only apply to the currently active class.

Each time your class levels, you earn 1 Knowledge Point (KP) to spend in the Talent tree for that class. Some Talent abilities require a certain number of points to be spent before it will become available to you.

To assign Knowledge Points:

1. Press K or select the special notification that pops up on your screen when you earn a level in your active class.


2. Click the tab labeled Current Class.


3. On the lower right side of your class window, choose the icon you wish to apply your KP to. You can hover your mouse over the icon to see what it will give you.


4. Click on the expertise icon you wish to apply your KP to, then click .


If you change your mind before you click , you can choose to reset any points you have not yet assigned.



How do I use certificates?

Certificates are a great way to customize your character with cross-class abilities and bonuses. You may earn certificates by leveling your classes. In the class window, you will be able to see how many certificate slots are available for use at any given time, which is +1 per 10 levels of your Character Level.

You can use any combination of certificates you want, including those from other classes, and some certificates may offer a special bonus when they are used together. To see if there is a bonus available, apply your certificates and hover your mouse over the small yellow gem/tile in the Certificates block. If it is not shining, there is no bonus for the applied certificates.

Note 1: When triggering a certificate combination with two of the same certificates, only one of those certificates will be effective. For example, Eva +4% from the Bard and the Thief classes will only give you +4% when you trigger the bonus effect.

Note 2: When triggering two separate sets of certificates (two shining gems), only one of the bonus effects is valid.

To assign certificates:

1. Press K to open your class window.

2. Click the Current Class tab at the top of your class window.


3. On the upper right side, click to select the certificate you wish to apply.


4. Click on one of the vacant blue tiles on the left of the box to apply your certificate.


5. In order to obtain a bonus, applied certificates must be touching the same center gem/tile.

Bonus: To see the bonus attained by using the correct combination of certificates, hover your mouse over the gem.

No Bonus: Without the correct combination of certificates, there will be no bonus effects, and the gem will be dull.



What is Class Score/Expertise?



Class Score (aka Expertise) increases as you gain levels with different classes. When your score reaches a certain number of points, you gain a Class Expertise level.



Each Class Expertise level offers a higher bonus of the following attributes:

Max HP & Max MP
ATK & M-ATK
G-Healing

Sincerity: max MP +2% per level. Max 10.
Spiritual Training: When using Life Cure, HP Regen +10% per second, duration + 2 seconds. Max 1.
Divine Knowledge: When using Light Blessing, LCK, Light Resistance, and Nature Resistance bonuses +20%. Max 1.

Regular Skills

Earth Shock: Increases M-ATK +223 points. Deals Nature damage to an enemy and has a 50% chance to lower the enemy's ACC -14 points. Lasts 12 seconds.
Tornado: Increases M-ATK +186 points. Deals Nature damage to all enemies within 15 feet.
Cure: Heals a target for +92 HP.

Class Skills
*All level 1. Gathering specifics for each level of each skill.

Sanction's Light: Increases M-ATK +223 points. Deals Holy damage and reduces Light and Nature Resistance by 10% for 12 seconds.
Holy Smite: Increases M-ATK +167 points. Deals Holy damage on the target area of 20 ft and has a 50% chance to stun all targets for 3 seconds.
Light Blessing: Increases a target's Luck, and Holy + Nature Resistance +10 pts for 15 minutes.
Grace of Wisdom: Increases targets INT and WIS +7 pts for 15 minutes.
Life Cure: Heals a target +6HP per second for 12 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
Hard Truth: Increases a target's Max HP and MP by 10% and +10 points for 15 minutes.
Purifying Wind: Randomly removes one debuff from each party member within target area of 25 feet. Also increases healing effects by 10% over 12 seconds.
Healing Radiance: Heals each party member within the target area of 25 feet for 67 HP.




Bard


Passive Abilities


Brisk Rhythm: Increases Double Hit Rate +2%, but each strike deals less damage than the last.
Popular Musicians: Increases P-ATK and M-ATK +10% when equipped with a guitar.

Rock Soul I: M-Crit Rate +5%
Tuner I: Decreases MP Cost -2%
Pop Star I: EVA +4%
Rock Soul II: M-Crit Rate +10%
Tuner II: MP Consumption -5%

Soothing Chords: When using Music of Life, HP Regen +10% per second & duration +2 seconds. Max 1.

Class Skills

Vocal Bomb: Increases M-ATK +285 points and deals Fire damage to an enemy. If the enemy is under the Earth Shock effect, has a 20% chance to Knock Down the enemy. Lasts 4 seconds.
Burning Metal: Inflicts +10 Fire damage per second to a 20-foot target area for 12 seconds. Also reduces all enemies' DEF -93 points. Stacks up to 3 times.
Music of Life: Heals each party member within a 40-foot target area +8 HP per second for 12 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
Demonic Symphony: Increases the M-DMG dealt +4 points for each party member within 40 feet for 12 seconds.
Spirited Melody: Increases the Crit Rate and M-Crit Rate +18 points of each party member within 40 feet for 12 seconds.
War Rhyme: Increases the P-DMG +4 points of each party member within 40 feet for 12 seconds.
Songs of Illusion: Increases the EVA +18 points and DEF +155 points of each party member within 40 feet for 12 seconds.
Poem of Wind: Boosts a target's Move SPD +10% for 15 minutes.

Winter Chill: Deals Ice damage +13 points per second for 12 seconds to target, reducing its speed by -10%. May stack up to 3 times.
Magic Boost: Increases INT and Cast SPD +14 points each for 30 seconds.
Dimensional Jump: Teleports the caster 20 feet forward and increases the caster's EVA +10 points.

Class Skills

Lightning Bolt: Increases M-ATK +279 points and deals Lightning damage to target. Has a 25% chance to knock down the target if used while Winter Chill is in effect. Lasts 6 seconds.
Hellfire: Inflicts 20 Fire damage per second for 12 seconds to all enemies within target area of 20 feet.
Snow Storm: Increases M-ATK by 223 points, dealing Ice damage on all targets within 20 feet and immobilizing targets for 3 seconds.
Fog: Inflicts invisible status upon the caster and recovers MP by 2 points every 2 seconds. Cannot be cast in combat.
Resistance Collapse: Lowers a target's Fire, Ice, and Lightning resistance by 10 points for 18 seconds. Also reduces healing done to target by 42 points.
Elemental Guardian: Increases Fire, Ice, and Lightning resistance by 10 points for 30 seconds. Also deals bonus 2 points of Fire, Ice, and Lightning damage.
Spatial Conversion: Teleports caster and all party members within the same map back to the caster's checkpoint. Cannot be used in combat.
Ice Shield: Grants an Ice shield for 30 seconds, increasing DEF by 93 points. Also has 20% chance to freeze any target that attacks the caster, reducing the enemy's movement speed by 30% for 6 seconds.

Combat Cyclone: Increases P-ATK +66 points and strikes all enemies within 10 feet.
Declaration of Anger: Increases Malice caused by attacks +6 points for 30 seconds and reduces received P-DMG -1 point.
Provoke: Increases P-ATK +___ points and incites an enemy to attack you. Also causes the enemy to take an additional +___ damage for 6 seconds.

Class Skills

Bloody Attack: Increases P-ATK +66 points and has a 50% chance to deal bonus damage to an enemy twice.
Angry Punch: Increases P-ATK +111 points. Damages an enemy and incites a high amount of Malice.
Onrush: Increases P-ATK +103 points. Caster instantly charges and stuns target for 2 seconds.
Titan's Wall: Reduces received damage -4 points for 12 seconds.
Sense of Survival: Increases caster's Max HP + 42 points and increases P-Healing by 10% for 30 seconds.
Metal Bluster: Increases DEF +124 points for 24 seconds.
Intimidate: Frightens all enemies below Lvl. 1 within 10 feet of caster, throwing them into a Fear state for 5 seconds. Also decreases enemies' EVA -10 points.





Knight

Passive Abilities


Clearmind: Immune to Hypnosis.
Rapier Expert: Increases P-ATK and M-ATK +10% when equipped with a Rapier.



Certificates

Elegance I: EVA +4%
Defend Master I: When equipped with a 2h weapon, Parry chance +4%.
Rapier Attack I: Increases Double Hit chance +1%, but damage decreases each hit.
Elegance II: EVA +8%
Defend Master II: When equipped with a 2h weapon, Parry chance +7%.
Rapier Attack II: Increases Double Hit chance +2%, but damage decreases each hit.


Class Talents

Combat Knowledge: STR +1% per level. Max 20.
Weight Training: EVA +1% per level. Max 20.
Classical Tactics: Duration of Elegant +1 second per level. Max 10.
Practical Training: ATK +2% per level. Max 5.
Classy Finish: When using Knight's Breeze, Move SPD + ATK SPD bonuses +20%. Max 1.
Fencing: Crit Rate +1% per level. max 20.
Chivalry: Malice cause by attacks +2% per level. Max 20.
Battlefield Cyclones: When using Judgment Storm, P-ATK DMG +20% every second, duration +2 seconds. Max 1.

Armor Specialization: All Elemental Resistances +1% per level. Max 5.
Insight: When using Fight Back, Shield LCK bonus +20%. Max 1.

Maelstrom: Increases P-ATK +51 points. Strikes an enemy 3 times, dealing less damage each hit.
Judgment Storm: Inflicts +15 P-DMG per second on enemies within 10 feet for 12 seconds. Also incites significant Malice.
Magic Blockade: Increases P-ATK +148 points. Prevents an enemy from casting skills for 5 seconds.
Fearless: Increases your ACC +14 points for 15 seconds and removes all debuffs.
Knight's Breeze: Increases your Move SPD +30% and ATK SPD +14 points for 30 seconds.
Focus: Increases your Double Hit Rate +15% and AGI +10 points for 30 seconds.
Elegant: Increases your EVA +24 and P-Healing +10%.

Art of Assassination: Crit DMG +2% per level.
Seize Opportunity: When using Sneak, CRIT Rate bonus +20% and ATK bonus +5%. Max 1.
Camouflage: Malice caused by attacks -1% per level. Max 10.
Hidden Breath: When using Hidden Force, Crit Rate bonus +20%. Max 1.
Killing Spree: DMG from Cruel Slashes +2% per level. Max 5.

Regular Skills

Slam: Increases P-ATK +103 points. If you deal DMG while Sonic Cut is on the target, you have 15% chance to knock down the target. Lasts 4 seconds.
Sonic Cut: Deals +8 damage per second for 12 seconds. May stack up to 5 times.
Encourage: Increases double hit rate +15% and STR +14 for 30 seconds.
Fast Shadow: Increases your EVA +21 points for 15 seconds.
Fury Hit: Increases P-ATK +88 points and strikes all enemies within 10 feet and decreases their ATK SPD -10 points and Cast SPD -10 points for 12 seconds.

Class Skills

Swift Attack: Increases P-ATK +59 points. Strikes the enemy 3 times, dealing less damage each time.
Ambush: Increases P-ATK +81 points. Damages the enemy and doubles the next P-DMG the enemy takes.
Deadly Containment: Increases P-ATK +162 points of damage and stuns the enemy for 3 seconds. Only works while invisible.
Hidden Force: Conceals you instantly, making you invisible for 12 seconds. Increases crit rate by +14 points, but increases received damage x4.
Sneak: Conceals you instantly and increases crit rate +5 points. Lowers movement speed -25%. Cannot be cast in combat.
Gallop: Increases MOV SPD +30% and AGI +10 points for 15 seconds.
Blend: Increases EVA of all party members within 25 feet +10 for 30 seconds.

Anesthetic Pierce: Increases P-ATK +59 points. Damages an enemy and reduces the enemy's ATK SPD and Cast SPD -14 points. Stacks up to 3 times.
Flash Bomb: Increases P-ATK +59 points. Damages an enemy, lowering its ACC -21 points for 12 seconds.
Wild Stimulation: Increases a summoned Sword Tooth Tiger's ACC +10 points and CRIT Rate +21 points for 30 seconds.

Cleric Question

I have a question, on the Cleric Class Expertise, the ability Healing Hands says it increases the effect of Divine Light. However, there is no skill called Divine Light. Is this a typo? Or is Divine Light just a higher level skill that cannot be accessed yet?

It is most likely a skill that is not available until after level 40.

You might want to note which Licenses increase your stat points by a percentage and which ones are a flat bonus. For example, the Illusionist Time Trick I license is a flat bonus to cast speed, not a bonus to your Cast Speed points.
